I've actually never been to a Starbucks where there are so many incompetent people. Stood waiting to be served for 10 minutes, then was served by someone who had no idea what they were doing. I ordered 2 Strawberry Açai Refreshers, one with no ice. When I asked for no ice the person looked at me like I had horns on my head- i've been to the Castlebawn, Bloomfields, Connswater starbucks and I always order the same thing. When I ask for no ice they just top it up with lemonade or water which I am always happy enough with. When I got my drinks I was given a drink which was not even half full, I would say quarter at most. When you pay £5.50 for a drink you expect it to be full, I was actually appalled at the level of common indecency in these staff who think it is acceptable to hand a drink like that to a customer. I would have completely understood if they were not able to top my drink with water or lemonade but I was not told that when paying, the man even asked me if topping it up with water would be okay. I handed the drink back and just asked for ice to be put in it because I was actually stunned that's how the staff are trained to hand out drinks like that, when I asked she put ice in it and basically threw the drink back at me with very sarcastic smile. I will not be back at this location, and I would recommend anyone to go to the one at bloomfields or castlebawn, way better customer service and you actually get what you pay for!

Like many of the big franchises, each has a particular roast for their beans. Starbucks is one if my prepared roasts. Never disappoints.Food is another story as they are not usually the healthiest. Can't get everything right though, can you.

shopping centre- staff are majority rude and unwelcoming. no friendly faces or hospitable engagement from them. drinks are mid but what do you expect from a fast food cafe.Went to drive thru in newtownards to see if it was different. service was reasonably quick but the young girl at the window had no manners, didnt say please or thank you just took my payment and closed the window in my face! drinks are nice enough

Got kicked out because I was apparently making a disturbance? Wasnt being loud at all we were all just speaking in a low tone and don’t appreciate how cheeky the worker was about it “Use all need to get out you are all creating such a disturbance and dont come back” we did nothing wrong the rest of the workers were so sweet though.

Was in yesterday with my girlfriend and was shocked by the service. The girl at the till was rude and acted like she didn’t want to be there at all. Also were only accepting cash payments cause the card machine was down which is fine it happens, but had no sign up to tell customers before getting to the service point so how are customers meant to know before paying. Is usually a go to Starbucks for us as well but won’t be back again due to the attitude of getting served.

Ards Starbucks. Having a sick disabled husband struggling with a rollator and two very full coffee cups to try to take them to a table was almost more than I could bare to see. The obvious burns and scold risk to him was very clear. The staff were busy talking and not wanting to help. I said can you not even spare one member of staff to help to which I was glared at for disturbing their conversation. Sad sad sad how disabled people are treated by this company. ? very disappointing! My advice- Go to Costa at the other side of the shopping centre if you are disabled. They have brilliant staff who are willing to help.
Buy a iced cappuccino everyday for my son the staff are fantastic. I have tried other starbucks for the same drink but are never made to the proper standard, starbucks at ards shopping center absolutely the best staff i have come across their customer care fantastic ?Parking: Disability parking right beside, plenty of space

I have had the pleasure of spending time here over the past few years, to escape, far from the madding crowd. All tastes are catered for, both beverage wise and food wise, with a wide array on offer. With newly recovered, comfortable armchairs providing a chance to sit and sip delicious coffee (mine’s a Cortado), read or enjoy the conversation, what makes this a special place, is the people who work here. Taking your name for your order, not only ensures you get the right drink, it helps build a bond between staff and customers, provides a welcoming experience and quality social interaction. Highly recommended, just don’t sit in my seat…
