Stopped here for lunch with the family with dogs in tow.Food was absolutely amazing, and they were super kind to the dogs as well (there were sausages involved).Their menu has so many gluten free variations of menu items.The staff were all extremely nice and very helpful, looking forward to visiting again.Dietary restrictions: The majority of the menu has gluten free variations available.

Good experience. A really nice meal served in quiet, comfortable surroundings by very friendly staff. Chowder was well stocked and not over creamy. The steaks were excellent. We will definitely be back.

Food was amazing but the service was next to none. The bar manager was so chilled out and down to earth made us so comfortable. Erin's cocktails were out of this world, the best cocktails I've ever had. The staff absolutely made it.

We dropped into the Claw & Bull on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon with no booking. The whole town of Portaferry was buzzing and we could see from the crowded beer garden that they were very busy. Even though we didn’t have a booking they found us a table with an amazing view overlooking the lough. The food was amazing and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Looking forward to a return visit very soon.

Went for lunch today to find a dog was allowed to roam freely around a restaurant. When our food came to the table the large dog came over and started to smell our food . Waitress did nothing ! she had a poor attitude from the start anyway - poor service -never again disgusting!!!
