Used to always have great experiences here but the last few times the service has been subpar. On this particular occassion I rang ahead to ask when they closed and was told they closed at 9pm and last orders / walk ins were 8:45pm. Said that was great as I was just leaving the house, got there at 8:40pm and the door was locked. Good, tasty food, served quickly from an immaculate kitchen. What more could you want? Oh ok, all the food is local, cooked in healthy soya oil so great for sensitive tummy's. Think crunchy golden chips that don't leave your fingers greasy and no bloat afterwards.Veg and vegan friendly and not hard to pay for. Called in because of high ratings on Google reviews. I wasn't disappointed. 2 fish suppers were huge, well priced and the fish and chips were the cleanest I've had in a long time. However, I'm a salt and vinegar addict and after a minute eating there was none left. A minor gripe, given my wife loved it and was perfectly happy with the amount of seasoning.Would I go back? Yes, in a flash. But next time I'd eat in so I could top up on salt and vinegar as I go ??
