63 Eglinton St, PortrushCalled in on Saturday 14th March for a bite to eat before we headed home from Portrush. They were more than happy to take us with no booking as there was a spare table. All the staff were very friendly, Lyndsay was very helpful for everything we needed and explaining everything from the menu. She was also great craic. If she was on commission for selling meals she would be worth a fortune ?
Also a big shout out to the chef as the food was lovely.
Will definitely be back again the next time we are down ?

Hands down the nicest kebabs in Northern Ireland so far — and trust me, I know my kebabs! ?
The food is always fresh, full of flavour, and the portions are spot on. Staff are friendly and service is quick, even when it’s busy.
If you’re in Portrush and fancy a proper feed, this is the place to go. ? Recommend

Chequers Hillcrest Portrush
121 Coleraine Rd, PortrushArrived again this evening to get my usual single chip with no salt and vinegar. Pleasant helpful guy who hasn’t served me before (ginger hair and glasses) was taking orders and payment at the till.
I placed my order and for once, common sense was used tonight and he went and got the chip and gave it to me at the collection side of the counter. Thank you so so much for this, as I usually have to wait my place in the long queue of family orders which is frustrating when it’s only a plain measly chip I’m waiting on.
Well done. Thank you for knowing that a chip takes two ticks to sort. Hope this is relayed to all staff or that I get you the next time lol.

27-29 Eglinton St, PortrushTasty Pizza. I don't normally eat from Domino's as I feel it's always been incredibly overpriced, but today I slashed out and did enjoy it.I fed some to the local starlings who also tweeted their appreciation.

37 Main St, PortrushGood spot in the middle of town. Apparently part of a chain, never heard of it before as it's not in the rest of Ireland.
We dropped in for lunch. Had the hot honey chicken wrap which was nice, a little dry but the chips were good. Kids were happy with the burgers!

1 harbour road, PortrushValentine’s Day meal here. The menu has changed!! The Hendricks Southside cocktail had been removed. Luckily our superb server Jo was able to get one of the barmen to make it for us ?. Management’put this back on the menu’ food was delicious. The 2 seater tables are very close together. Servers kept hitting me on their way past. Service was superb. We will be back

Without the half price offer, I may have been inclined to keep looking, but, I was super impressed with our choices.

77 Main St, PortrushCalled in today with my wife and daughter, was absolutely starving,we ordered a large fry, goujons and chips and cowboy supper, service from the two lads was first class, super quick, food was piping hot and absolutely lethal, all three meals were excellent, good portions, chips dry and fluffy, fry was on point, daughters goujons were class, compliments to the chef, really impressed with this cafe, priced very reasonable, will definitely be back when up in Portrush, cant recommend this cafe enough.

Don't go in too late if you're after a seat but it ain't really a problem, you'll be having too much fun ? The bar staff are exceptional and talkative, didn't take them long to remember what we were ordering, with an alright selection of rum to choose from. The place was always clean and tidy, even late on in the night. I canny not mention the bouncers ? great craic and local knowledge for the time visiting the area. I'll be back in next time for sure!

25 Lansdowne Cres, PortrushCame across the Kraken today while up for my sons birthday with his friends. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was exceptional. Kids portions were huge as were the adult meals. The food was so nice, light and crispy batter and food was piping hot. Great value for money in this climate. The little pods overlooking the beach had heaters in them and provided a great shelter and a novelty to eat in for the kids. 10/10

58 Main St, PortrushWe were in on Sunday 22nd Feb 2026. Two ladies working were rushed off their feet god love them. Not enough staff for the day. Felt so sorry for the ladies there was no way they would of even been able to get a break or go to the toilet. Ground needs to have better way of getting staff in when others don't show up. Bless the ladies that worked Sunday they were great but the queues just never slowed down the whole time we were there. They are strong women. Many would of cracked under the rush

120 Glenmanus Rd, PortrushWhat a find!! Don’t let the exterior put you off!Had tea/coffee and scones this afternoon and what a treat it was. The scones were so fresh and just “like your Granny’s”. They came served with strawberry jam, fresh strawberries and fresh cream. The Flat White coffee was delicious.We got speaking to the new owner, who told us she originally had the tearoom at Dunluce but has moved to this new site in Portrush. We will definitely be back. Wishing you well in your new business venture.

26 Dunluce Ave, PortrushWent here for dinner with my husband and little boy. My little boy was just uncontrollably crying and really upset soon after we sat down. The girls working there were amazing with calming him down and making sure everything was good with us all. Special shoutout to Tilly who absolutely went above and beyond and helped to calm him down. Food was also really lovely but the service is what will have us coming back

55 Eglinton St, PortrushWe were a bit hesitant to get takeaway from this restaurant at first because of some of the mixed reviews, but we’re so glad we decided to give it a try.
We ordered a few dishes to share between the two of us Satay, Cantonese Sweet & Sour Prawn, Special Chow Mein, and Pork Spare Ribs (best dish) just in case we didn’t like something.
Every dish turned out fine. The flavours were spot on, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the portion sizes were just right, each dish is perfect for one person, and at around £8 per dish, it’s really good value for money. The food was quick only took 10-15mins.
We ordered takeaway but It’s a bit dull as for the atmosphere for dine‑in when we stepped in, there’s definitely some room for improvement there.
We’ll definitely be ordering from here again. Sometimes you just have to try it for yourself and we’re glad we did!

The Harbour Bar
6 Harbour Road, PortrushStellar service!! I mean, I don't know if it was intentional but it felt like a floating service. We had plenty of waitstaff the kept our drinks full and made sure our orders came out hot! Garlic bread is incredible though the "aioli" tasted like it was just mayo but the bread didn't need it at all. Goujons were good but the bbq sauce didn't taste bbq at all. The pepper sauce was nice though. Star here was the rotisserie chicken: fall off the bone and cooked perfectly. Again though, sauce was mid. Nothing on this menu needs a sauce (except Goujons) but they all come with them! Dishes def stand alone. All that said, the device made the meal!
