Food was superb, the service faultered, but bearing in mind how busy the place was its understandable. They seemed short staffed as well and bar service suffered to. The music and atmosphere was great. Would definitely recommend! The team were very friendly and also offered as discount to make up for it!

It was so busy that there were not enough staff waiting tables. I ordered the sea bass, which was one of the most expensive meals on the menu and I asked what it came with. The waitress said she would recommend ordering a side so I asked for vegetables. Then I was given 2 forks and had to ask twice for a knife. When the food arrived the fish was tiny and literally swimming in a really unpleasant salt soy sauce mixture almost like a soup. Nothing on the plate other than the fish and liquid it was drowning in. The side of vegetables was mainly soft cooked onions with a few peppers and one mushroom. When we wanted to pay we didn't see a member of staff come near us for about 20 minutes, in the end I had to get up to ask someone for the bill who promptly walked off just as I reached them, found another member of staff who said they'd bring the bill... 15 mins later we were still waiting and had to ask for the bill AGAIN ! Also the music upstairs was different to downstairs and we could barely hear each other talk over the noise. Food awful, service awful, place awful. Avoid.

Staff were lovely. Menu is very over priced however. The food was not great and I expected much better quality and quantity for the price. Our kids meals arrived with chips and no goujons as ordered and we had to wait 15 minutes for their remainder of their meal to arrive when we had finished eating. The nachos were £8.95 and were internally just tortilla chips tossed on a plate with sauce on top. Very underwhelming. The dish must have cost 50p to produce. The prawns were nice but not worth £20.

The food was reasonably good, although expensive for what it was - we paid over £100 for a shared starter, main course, and a few drinks. The service however was dreadful, probably the worst we've ever experienced. Every time we wanted anything we had to go looking for a staff member, rather than them come to us.Over 25 mins to order a drink after being seated, drinks then took another 25 mins after that (arrived after our starter), pint of beer that never came, given a half pint of beer when I had ordered a full one etc.Unfortunately staff hardly came near the table, so grabbing the attention of someone passing was difficult, and every time they said they'd get something, it took another 20-30 mins (or had to be asked for again).Wasn't particularly busy and it was well staffed so not really sure what the problem wasEspecially disappointed as we were celebrating a special occasion (which they had been made aware of in advance)

First impressions it looked busy and had a varied menu. We were seated quickly to a very sticky table with food all over the floor. We viewed the menu and drinks and ordered. All ok until the starters arrived and we noticed after one or two bites, that the wings were not cooked all the way through. I got the attention of the waiter and showed him the wings and how pink they were and he took the plate away. A few minutes later a senior waiting staff member arrived to inform us that the wings were cooked correctly and the next plate will be the same “the chef said it’s the veins in the wings” and there is nothing that can be done. I’m sorry but I’ve been around food a long time and I know undercooked chicken when I see it, I’m also a butcher by trade and to have some chef not take responsibility and tell his waiter to speak to us in the manner that he did is completely unacceptable. So we declined another portion. Our mains arrived and it looked great, but unfortunately the taste was OFF, We decided to say nothing and eat what we could before being ignored and avoided for around 30mins as we tried to ask for the bill. When I finally got the bill, it was thrown on the table and the waiter disappeared again, no pleasantries or are you paying with card etc…. We paid and left, but that is not where the story ends, my wife and myself were extremely ill during the night. Was it the wings or the mains, I don’t know, but one thing is for certain, the staff from the Chef down need complete retraining in cooking and customer service. Probably the worst ever experience we have had in any restaurant. From our experience go to the local chipper when in Portrush Probably the worst experience

Fabulous food and service with portions and prices that satisfied this Yorkshire man . Best meal we have had so far in the 6 counties . The starters are very generous so be careful what you order. Thank you to Thomas and all the staff . We had 6 different dishes between the 3 of us and enjoyed everyone

I headed there with a friend that has 2 babies and they were very welcoming despite us having a big pram. The staff is kind and very helpful, the food was served quickly and it was delicious, not only visually! Prices are affordable and good enough for the location. Definitely recommend trying their meat!

Another lovely meal tonight in Neptune and Prawn with our kids and family friends. Thanks to Thomas for arranging our table to suit a wheelchair and Aaron and the team for the great service. Food was delicious and drinks too!

Attended for the first time in a few year and was somewhat disappointed. Prices were quite expensive. I realise that prices have gone up everywhere but do what you get this just wasn’t value. The portion of rice I got was small and not enough for the dish. There was basic pasta dishes costing £19 and certainly not value for money. The food was ok taste wise but the chicken in a number of dishes was quite dry. Would have said the meal was average but not worth the price.

Arrived and gave my name for the booking..the guy was wearing a ‘Manager’ label and looked totally bewildered and confused, eventually directed us to our table. I went for the Chicken Tikka Biryani - big mistake, there’s no indicators on the menu to say how hot/spicy it was - it was way too hot/spicy to eat. Everything comes in 1 bowl which against was disappointing. One of our party went for the Burger - 2 beef patties in a bread bun!…no garnish.. reminded me of a school dinner. Like the rest of the restaurants in this chain and indeed others in Portrush, they employ very young staff who clearly either have not been trained in the art of Customer Service or are poorly managed - the restaurant was not overly busy but we waited over 25 mins and had to ask for someone to clear the table. Overall, l feel the standard has slipped in many of the Portrush restaurants. This was my first and last visit to this one.

Our orders were brought without fuss. Charley one waiter was most welcoming and engaging. Cared for the patron. Food was brilliant- the best Asian themed menu we have had in UK and Europe in 2 months. Incredibly tasty. Highly recommended.
