As per restaurant owner Chicken Biryani is Northern Ireland special biryani, not Indian biryani. The worst biryani in Northern Ireland. Please don't ask for spicy birayani, they will just add chilli powder and mix it.Update : As per the REPLAY from the restaurant, it is ok to add chilli powder and mix it. Please don't call yourself an Indian restaurant, it's Northern Ireland restaurant. I request all Indians to try out other authentic Indian restaurants,, not this one.

Here you can try out the "northern Ireland special Biriyani"??????. I think everyone should try out this ?️ biriyani.REPLY TO THE RESTAURANT JUSTIFICATION: Yes i can surely say that you didn't put green chillies, instead you dumped a whole lot of red chilli powder in that overcooked rice. So i personally like to name it is a 'Red Chilli Biryani' not a chicken biriyani. I recommend other authentic Indian restaurants for Indian cuisines.

This place is excellent. The food was superb and the portions were huge compared to the price. The service was great as well. Don’t miss this place on your next trip through Portrush.

I recently dined at this restaurant during my road trip from Dublin. I ordered the special biryani for £15.95, which included a mix of sheep, chicken, and prawns, along with a side of vegetable curry that resembled a thick sambar in appearance. However, it tasted nothing like traditional sambar. Unfortunately, the biryani had uncooked masala (chilli powder) which made it really hot and didn't meet my expectations in terms of taste. When I shared my disappointment with the manager, he mentioned that this is how biryanis are prepared in Northern Ireland, following a lesser-known Indian biryani style that very few people are familiar with. As a traveler, I was hoping for a slightly closer authentic culinary experience. I believe there's room for improvement in the quality of their dishes. Overall, my visit left much to be desired."

Great tasting food, good selection, and good service. The pricing point is about average. Maybe slightly above to sit in. The only minus point would be the decor, which is a tad poor.Closing time to sit in can vary to that on the door. We had to leave slightly early the night we were in. However, no one else in that evening so couldn't blame owner.

Hard to find a decent curry in the area- butWe ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh and it was pretty tasty with a nice level of spice. The lamb was tender, not dry.We wouldn’t call it a typical, authentic Rogan Josh- however- it was a half tasty, flavoursome dish. Very saucy.Fluffy pilau rice. ?

Such a good Indian! Large menu and generous portions - recommend the saag

Food was mediocre and not to my taste for Indian food. Hot, but lacking in individual spice taste. Tikka chilli masala was drowned in salt which precluded taste of spices.Left meal unfinished, as palate couldn't handle being overpowered by saltiness. Balti was better, but not usual Balti, lacking flavour. Didn't have feel of being cooked from scratch.Restaurant itself was relaxed and staff not attentive when busy.

Owner was friendly and service decent. But pretty average Indian food. After having been on road for a week and we needed some spices and it worked ok. They should stop using bringht color additives in the food.

Best restaurant ever, we had a family of five and we ordered chicken tikka masala, korma, and Tandoori Sizzler. We had the best time and we will definitely be back again. Best Indian in north coast for sitting inVegetarian options: Veggie korma and masala

Not recommend this Indian restaurant. If the kitchen is busy then they should not accept the bulk order and make customer wait long time by giving false estimate of collection time. Tourists visiting Belfast and Bushmills please do not select this restaurant
