We've been visiting Portstewart for many years but had never been to Amici. We enjoyed good service, high quality food and wines, saw our friend Martin was also in with his family celebrating his birthday. Portions generous, food rather rich (in my case the salmon pasta with lemon sauce), many choices, no possibility of fitting in one of the very nice looking desserts.Dietary restrictions: A small but well thought out vegan options menu and waiter and chef who are thoughtful to advise on in our case dairy free (no milk) variations.

Beautiful location along the Atlantic. The food was absolutely delicious! Our server Alan was fantastic! We have one in our group who is very specific in her requests/orders which were handled with ease. Thank you for your grace and assistance. Also had a birthday and though it was very quickly mentioned upon entering the restaurant they remembered and had a lovely "candle" for the top of his dessert. Thank you again for doing everything to make this night wonderful! Definitely recommend! You will feel like you are eating in Italy except for the accents! ?

Food was excellent, as was the service. The view is fantastic too. The portions are generous and the food was served promptly and piping hot. All in all a very good experience that was also excellent value for money.Parking: There is a generous sized car park for patrons on site.Wheelchair accessibility: The main entrance has a ramp from the car park and everything inside is on one level.

Our first visit to Amici definitely won’t be our last. Very friendly staff and great food all served with a smile. I was impressed by the choices on their menu with I’m sure something for everyone. All our dishes were really tasty from salmon to the pizza specials. The desserts were to die for. I’m sure you could easily share given the generous portions. We would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Lovely welcome by staff, seated at window. We were a party of four. Air conditioner unit was circulating very cold air where we were and we asked could it be turned down, without hesitation staff did that. Food was really good, very varied menu and we didn't have to wait long to be served.

I originally left a 5 star review shortly after leaving the restaurant as the food and service were, on the face of things, good! Unfortunately my wife took ill during the night and throughout the next day. She is coeliac, which was made very clear in our booking, and she was given a dedicated Gluten Free Menu on arrival. She chose the salt & chilli prawn starter and the risotto main. While out for a walk the following day I took the opportunity to call at Amici and got speaking to the owner, who was in a chefs uniform. When I explained that I was not making a complaint as such, but giving him information so he could double check his menu, he was quite shocked that she had been given the salt & chilli prawn option as the prawns are coated in flour! I was equally shocked to hear this, and was even more disappointed that the owner wasn’t any longer interested in my wife’s health or our name and contact number. He seemed more concerned that the prawn dish was an option on his GF menu, and that needed changed. I originally went to the restaurant to simply inform the management of my concerns and not for any compensation seeking reason, but I have to say, that after this poor response by the owner, it leaves a rather bad taste. It certainly wouldn’t give us any confidence in returning when so many members of staff missed the fact that my wife received a dish full of GLUTEN!

Service and food excellent. Plenty of waiting staff, service was quick and pleasantly presented. Staff also regularly checked throughout for any issues, and turned down a ventilator that was causing a draught. Only one issue - the apple crumble & custard - when ordering asked for extra custard - waiter returned and said chef said NO. The desert arrived with a small container holding no more than a spoonful of custard - surely when spending over £200 for our meal (for 4) they could have afforded an extra spoonful!

Called in on the off chance we would get a table and were greeted with a friendly welcome. There’s such a great atmosphere about this place! We both opted for two of the specials as we are massive seafood fans and they did not disappoint. Presentation , flavours all 10/10 Despite being a busy Monday night the service was spot on and relaxed. I wish this restaurant was opened when I still lived in portstewart
Probably my favourite restaurant. Pasta dishes are amazing and the risotto is incredible. The desserts (all in a glass cabinet that you can choose from) are a highlight. The staff have always been really friendly and helpful.

The experience at Amici was first class, from the very good welcome right through to leaving. Serving the food wasn't rushed and plenty of time to ponder over the menu. The Menu has a great selection for all taste buds and portion sizes were genorous. I highly recommend Amici Ristorante.

Great food and menu choices and not too expensive. But the waitress, an older lady was rather rude…an attitude problem and put a downer on the evening for my friend and I. Otherwise it’s a 5 star for food but poor customer service from waitress.

Personally i was shocked by the appalling service at this restaurant and the rudeness of staff. A highly anticipated meal was extremely overpriced and not good value for money at all considering the pasta arrived lukewarm. The waiting staff were stand-offish and just downright rude, huffing and puffing when we asked to split the bill, which was the final straw as we have been eating here for years. but never again
