Kids menus are often an after thought but not here... our boys nearly licked the plates. Will definitely be back!!

Plenty of seating, friendly staff and great serviceVegetarian options: Can only say about the lunch menu but it has a vegetarian starter and two mains, one of which was a vegan option. Didn't eat vegetarian options myself but my partner enjoyed it greatly

The Ice House
9 The Promenade, PortstewartFirst time eating here and definately wont be the last. The staff were so friendly. They alone made the visit worthwhile, but the food was also exceptional.. the most delicious burger I've eaten in a while.Kid-friendliness: They gave our two colouring pages and displayed them while we were there. So very friendly.

67E The Promenade, PortstewartOur first time trying this icecream paradise, it was first class, proper locally made icecream with an assortment of delicious and wonderful flavours. The staff was so friendly and offered us tasting spoons of some of the flavours. 5 large tubs later we were in heaven. If you're looking great icecream go here.

117 Strand Rd, PortstewartCame here on a Thursday night and opted for the Early Bird menu with wine pairing. We booked for 6 pm and were the only people in the restaurant but it did fill up after 7. All the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. As for the food and wine, it was superb . I had the panko prawns with mango chutney and satay , just delicious as was my wife’s cauliflower soup. We had the sugar pit pork and venison for mains , again faultless ,as were our desserts of caramelised banana and white chocolate parfait . All for a bargain price of £34 and only £10 for wine pairing. I could not recommend this restaurant more highly and will be back.

73 The Promenade, PortstewartHad a meetup with several family members over from England & Scotland and after a visit to Castlerock we went to Portstewart for a snack. We liked the look of Anderson's Artisan and called in for coffee and ice cream. Half of us stuck with that choice but as it was near lunch time and the rest of us had further to travel we opted for hot snacks. My wife had bacon, pancakes & maple syrup and my son had a sausage and bacon roll, all freshly made, not out of a hot counter. I had soup and a sausage roll. The sausage rolls are made on the premises and are exceptional, it's worth going just to get one. The ice cream is the multi award-winning Maud's, one of the best you can get. Glad we came across Anderson's Artisan, it'll be on our list next time we're in Portstewart.

Seaview Dr, PortstewartWe had delicious varenyky yesterday - with cabbage (our favourite), with potato & mushroom and potato & bacon. Already planning our next order to try many other beloved dishes on the menu, both savoury and sweet - borscht, nalysnyky, syrnyky. Lucky to meet Victoria, Anna and Nik too - a very nice family. Lost & Found Cafe
3 Berne Rd, PortstewartAll good - only reason for a 4 on atmosphere ( and actually it got sorted very well) was that if couples are eating if there's no table for 2 they'll obviously take a table for 4 so that's a waste and means that those following ( couples or more ) have to sit outside even if it's raining. However it's a difficult one to get right in a smallish place AND in our case, the barrista came to get us from outside as soon as space was available. And on that, staff all very pleasant, well mannered, efficient and friendly.Parking: If place is busy the carpark beside can be full , however there's other places nearby from which you can walk.

116 Strand Rd, PortstewartWe had lunch on Thursday afternoon after having a walk on the beach. Didn’t book a table but there was plenty of space. We had burger and chips, fish and chips, onion rings and two teas, £47 on the bill. I would say the food tastes fresh but price is probably a little on the higher side. Kids and dog friendly - I saw baby high chairs and customer bring their dog in. There is a unisex toilet next to the kitchen.

6 The Diamond, PortstewartFirst time visit to the Superfry and it was not disappointing. I ordered 2 cod suppers and they were huge. I was also offered tartar sauce as I collected my order. The staff were friendly and they accept card payments. A definite return visit will be on the cards.

Coffee Hut Portstewart
The Promenade, PortstewartMy friends recommend this place for pizza so we thought we would try it out over the Easter holidays. The food was even better than expected. I had the Hawaiian pizza… soo good. It’s good but size. One would do two people. The spots of chips are very good too. We will defiantly be back to get more. Lovely treat at the port. Staff very friendly as well. We used the app to order which was really handy to, meant we just had to go collect.

Along with the nicest latte and homemade sausage rolls! I hope it doesn't change too much with the revamp happening in the near future because we love as is :)
