Had a meetup with several family members over from England & Scotland and after a visit to Castlerock we went to Portstewart for a snack. We liked the look of Anderson's Artisan and called in for coffee and ice cream. Half of us stuck with that choice but as it was near lunch time and the rest of us had further to travel we opted for hot snacks. My wife had bacon, pancakes & maple syrup and my son had a sausage and bacon roll, all freshly made, not out of a hot counter. I had soup and a sausage roll. The sausage rolls are made on the premises and are exceptional, it's worth going just to get one. The ice cream is the multi award-winning Maud's, one of the best you can get. Glad we came across Anderson's Artisan, it'll be on our list next time we're in Portstewart.

New place on the block for proper food.....well known for its ice cream yet it's far more than that....?? breakfasts are simple, plenty of choice, fresh and really tasty. Favourite is build your own brioche, coffee is good and granola. Lunch, sausage rolls are top nosh. Really helpful, pleasant team too. ?

lovely shop, but the lady working today behind the till with bun in her hair was muttering under her breath about the previous customer to the other staff member (he was very welcoming) she also muttered about me hurrying up while I was looking at ice cream flavours, thinking I didn't hear her. not very pleasant

Lovely ice cream and delicious coffee plus lots of wee gifts to browse.
Lovely little ice-cream place on the promenade in portstewart.Very modern with a great selection of ice-cream.Prices range from approx £2 75 upwards, but they also do coffee and cakes.Worth a visit if you're in the areaDidn't get 5 stars as they were quite slow to clear some of the tables, but it was new years eve and they were quite busy.

Staff with sad faces obviously didn't want the be there. The people in front of us walked out as there was a bad atmosphere, very small portion sizes as staff did not have the energy to scoop properly, one ice cream was smaller than the cone so ordered another scoop which made it the same size as the cone but definitely a lot of effort for thstaffmember of staff

We love Maud's. On the Portstewart promenade cafe you can be sure of good service and a wide assortment of flavours and toppings. The coffee is also very nice. Pricing, considering the spike in costs, is still fair and competitive.
