The food was excellent, the Steak and ale pie didn't have the best presentation but had more Steak than I've had in one before and was tasty enough to more than make up for it.

First visit in about 16 years when we spent a week in Alnwick for a walking holiday. Good pub, I even remember where we sat near the fire. Two real ales on handpump. A Wainwright Gold and a collaberation beer from three NE breweries which Ic n Flic chose. 3 Rivers.( Aln, Tyne, Wear.)Very good. Nice central bar with three rooms wrapped around. Back room is a pool room.

Our family all came to this pub for my dad’s 60th birthday at the weekend….. the pub is under new ownership and the new owners could not be more welcoming and fantastic! We ended up staying all night…. We had a fantastic evening here, drinks were a great price and everyone was friendly and our dad had a great 60th birthday (until the following morning?) hahaaa…. So we recommend this place to everybody visiting Alnwick ? it was also karaoke night and it was fantastic!!!!

Very run down, needs carpets/seating replaced. Positive drinks not expensive. Staff pleasant. Lots of other pubs much nicer in alnwick

Fantastic pub to meet friends or just to chill out. Wide verity of drinks on tap to choose from. Eleyna who runs the pub is wonderful and always has a welcoming smile.
Nice pub great barmaid offered us free Birra Moretti, via an offer. Old fashioned pub not much to say, friendly staff helped.

Waited for table in Italian next door and was welcomed by great staff whilst we waited to be collected for an available table . Bar staff incredibly friendly and provided great info on places to visit in the area. Would recommend highly

Beautiful hotel lovely room we had four poster bed breakfast lovely staff great couldn’t fault them parking on site

Never felt so unwelcome in a pub. On arrival at 7pm we were informed that there was a quiz at 8pm and the regulars would want their regular tables. We asked if they would prefer if we sat in the bar but were told that "we'd never fit in there" (4 adults and 3 kids). We explained that we were just there for a drink and we'd be gone before the quiz at 8pm. From about 7.20 onwards, groups were giving us evils as we were obviously sat in their quiz table. A member of staff was sent over to us at 7.25 to explain that the quiz was starting at 8pm and we would have to vacate. We explained that we would but it was still 35 minutes away. Getting more evils from the quiz goers, we got up and 7.40 and started to leave. Staff members immediately came to our table and cleaned and anti-bac sprayed everywhere as if we had a virulent strain of cholera. We left at 7.45, giving the quiz goers ample time to sharpen their pencils. We honestly felt completely unwelcome from start to finish. The laugh of is it that we weren't tourists but with our family member from Almmouth. We'll drink there in future.

Good pint, friendly bar staff. Quiet when we went in which was early afternoon, but I'd imagine it would be busy in the evening.
