We didn’t have food as we had already eaten but it certainly looked good and smelled delicious. We certainly will stay again.

Cheese is generous and good mozzarella. The bases are deepdish, so would only appeal to folks who love a thick bready base to their pizza. It’s good pizza, definitely above average. Maybe a bit overrated by folks who rave quite liberally about it.

The restaurant looks lovely, it was clean, and the seating is very comfy. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was DELICIOUS! I had the Malaysian curry with pilau rice and my wife had the Sizzling Handi with garlic naan bread, everything was well-cooked and bursting with flavour.

5 The Vlg, Dunstan, AlnwickPassed by many times , but decided to go for Sunday lunch .Was not disappointed!Ample parking , lots of outdoor seating for clement weather , and if you have children - there is an enclosed adventure playground .I booked a table using Facebook Messenger, and the response was very prompt and courteous.We were seated upon arrival , and asked for our drinks order ( we already knew what we were having , and ordered food at the same time ).Staff are very friendly, courteous, and helpful .Food and drinks arrived in good time , food was piping hot and a generous portion was present on the plate .Could not fault the quality of this Sunday lunch and excellent value for money .Also , Dog friendly which always a plus +Atmosphere was cosy and inviting , and will be returning to try the week day menu - which also looks varied and very interesting.Access for those with mobility issues is excellent , toilets were clean and well presented .Food & drinks: Excellent Sunday lunch and very reasonably priced drinks .

Atmosphere was warm and friendly from the start, with the two young ladies behind the counter doing everything they could to provide a fantastic service with a smile. It's clearly a very popular place as the food sells out quickly and once it's gone it's gone, we had panini's with home made slaw and chips, the kids had lids pizzas with salad and chips. Everything was delicious and, for a southerner, the portions were super generous! I'd really recommend this gem of a place to anyone visiting Alnwick but be prepared to get in before the rush - the food is that good it will sell out quickly!

There is no baby changing facilities but the staff were very accommodating and allowed me to use the function room. They are family friendly In every other way! With high chairs, appropriate plates, cutlery and nutritious food and staff who know how to talk to little ones. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Alnwick! highly recommend!

Staff very kind, in a practically booked out restaurant were able to fit us in within 10 minutes of ringing to check availability. Covid-19 precautions all in place. Sign in and sanitizer for hands on arrival. Lots of perspex between tables so safe but not given the impression of no space as could still see around us. Attentive staff and beautiful food. Had starters and mains within the hour and no pressure on us going at end of our meal so Husband could enjoy finishing off his Cobra. Great to see the place open and thriving. Will be back again, Thank you!

I never leave reviews…usually because I’ve not being ‘wowed’ and/or I’m a really fussy/picky eater & never clear my place as there’s always something I don’t like (again me being a fussy eater), but this was soooo nice. Beef….didn't even need cutting….so soft & tasty, veg cooked just right (not too soft but not too hard)…I don’t even like red cabbage but I ate it & enjoyed it! Roast potatoes….best Ive had in ages, crispy outside & fluffy inside, Yorkshire pudding, crisp & soft without being too soggy or too well done, gravy….sooooo tasty, oh and cheesy leeks ?.All staff seemed happy to be there, pleasant & helpful without being ‘in your face’. Wine/beer lovely too. We will be back!

Great food, made with care. A quick warning, this restaurant is upstairs without any real street frontage so there's only a doorway onto the street. The Olde Cross, 32 Narrowgate, AlnwickWhat a cracking pub with a wonderful story! Saturday afternoon and found a table immediately. Wife had a cheeky gin and I tried a local bitter. The story of the landlord and the bottles is fun and full of character. I like the look of the menu but was only in town for a 'swift' one. Will look forward to coming back here when I am able.Noteworthy details: The landlord who died touching bottles, so the bottles were left untouched for hundreds of years...bottles in the window for all to see. Good fun!
