The food is genuine hepatitis, it's awful. It's undercooked for nearly everything. Tastes of the poonany-pincher. Diabolical. The staff had no gloves on when handling food. Call them schmeckel da ceckle. No hygiene, no happiness no good food, the drinks taste awful too. Would rather eat at the making of the 10 commandments.

Totally disgraceful. There was hair in my food. The kitchen staff were really rude and served me a small portion size. My partner who ordered the same received a bigger portion size than me , and the lady just looked at me and laughed and said 'ha, guess he's got extra food'

Didn't order as you didn't get toast with the breakfast or an option to purchase it online so ordered from a local cafe instead.

Basically ran out of produce by 12:41 for a cafe that is one of the highest no nos in catering as someone who works in catering I can say its shocking

Went here last week and all I can say is disgraceful ...they looked like they had been busy and only two staff and understand they were rushed off their feet but waited in the queue for 10 mins while she cooked food and didn't even acknowledge anyone was there. This was 1.30 in the afternoon.Eventually got served and I asked if they did cheese paninis and she just said no if you want a panini you have to go get it yourself and I will cook it ??I told her it didn't matter and I would just have a small bowl of chips and a coffee...to which she said we've got no coffee left ..so ended up with a bowl of chips which were hard in the middle and a coke .The lady just looked like she had a problem and wasn't polite at allI understand she had been busy but there's no excuse for being rude and unhelpful

I have always loved coming here. Havent been in ages so decided to call in around 5pm today (02.05.2018). Met with two hurried staff who were really unfriendly & unhelpful. Samantha & Martyna very much gave us the impression that we came at a bad time.Menu had a wide variety of food & healthy opitions such as salads amd soups. I ordered two kids box lunches (no prep in this you pick it yourself as it already made) & when asked what they had left, the reply ("not much") angered me. Not much alternatives were given so i started asking. Finally lasange was availble the 2nd time i asked. My friend was down using the cash machine as card machine was out of order. She was up by time i was apying for my meal & when she approached the staff she was told "there isnt much left plus theres a 20mins wait". 20mins to make 1 lasagne, there was no orders infrot of mines. Eventually she said " i can make you chips & sauasges but no beans as ive said its 20min wait".I found it very difficult to hold my tounge but as i had my kids with me i didnt want to.I have worked in cafes and resturants & i totally get it that they were pissed we called & there was kids etc but there was no need or excuse to speak to us the way they did. Another lady actually left as they kept telling her they didnt have what she was asking for.My dinner arrived & the plate was slammed down to me & i said "thank you" quite loudly & no response. They gave me the inpression that they didnt want to be there, they couldnt be bothered but wanted to get paid for it.I fully understand that everyone has off days, we are onky human but i couldnt help think if that was my elderly parents being trested in that manner how i would feel, i certinely wouldnt be back if that were the case.As i have stated i have been to asda plenty of times before & other staff have been so nice & helpful.I recommend that these two girls get adequate training on their interpersonal skills and how to professionally deal with members of the public.A smile costs nothing, a thank-you is free & manners go along way."A person may never rememeber what you said but they will ALWAYS remember how you made them feel".

What amazes me about Asda, is you can find most food groups under one roof. Another thing I found was the fact it's just like many Asda's around the country, this one resembles the one in Blackley, Manchester. The most tremendous thing about Asda is if you're ever away from home - and feel homesick - the Asda staff have the same uniforms as all the other Asda employees all over the UK, and they are always happy to help - which is great and picks up your spirits almost instantly, making you feel as though youre home ..

Never a queue at the self-scan tills, but the pressures on if you mess up it'll take fives times as long to get through.....

An ASDA store not much to say on that they sell food/George clothing etc. This store is probably one of there smaller stores although there are now plans for them to build a new store across the road which will change the store a lot from what currently offers as the site has been there a long time now when was originally gateway I think. the food available has all the normal ASDA offers but does not seem to stock the same full range available in other ASDA stores possibly due to lack of space. A good local supermarket but others available if prepared to drive a little further.

Its a rather smaller store than the one in Blyth but still has a good range of food the staff here are helpful and cheery They often do the main meals from the fresh meal ranges at £1 as I dont think they can sell them quickly enough also if you go before closing lots of the salads on offer They do tend to stock a good range of there own make stuff but due the chrismtmas range being out some of the stuff they usually have has gone They have self serve tills as well as trolley and baskets and there is usually a member of staff at the self serve to help out If you see any of the advertised offers in the papers for Asda this Asda has usually sold out before you restock. I think there just not quick enough to restock the shelves
