“Typical Spooneys, all on one level, no trek to the loos! Staff are helpful and friendly, beer is well kept, good atmosphere, quite busy early on a weekday. Food is good. Outside seating. We visited several times whilst staying at local Parkdean site on holiday, there was no comparison between their expensive meals and drinks and this great value Spoons. Recommended.”

“My daughter wanted to go here for her tea on her 9th birthday. The 2 young ladies who served us were absolutely lovely and so helpful. When they bought her cake out they sang happy birthday and gave her an Easter egg as it was a few days before Easter. Food was lovely and very reasonable priced. Lovely location too. Highly recommend!”

“Honestly I’m not the one to leave reviews good or bad on a place, but this was some amazing food we’ve had in a while in Ashington. The staff was lovely had a great chat, and the food was wonderful definitely worth the price. Everything was lush, good and quite big portions, especially the naan kebab my husband’s favourite . I would definitely recommend this place, will be visiting again.”
