Friendly lad behind counter.Food was nice, but the chow mein had far too much soy sauce on which made it proper salty, which I wasn’t keen on. Reasonably priced.Parking: About 3 shared spaces outside

I was extremely delighted with my experience at Thornton's Chinese takeaway. I found the food delicious and generously portioned - hearty food cooked with lots of heart!
Here, the big-hearted, light-spirited owner runs this extremely efficient takeaway with his parents in the kitchen, and you won't be disappointed with the excellent food and service.

So I tried a new Chinese last night and it was bloody lovely. The guy was so helpful on the phone, I went for stir fried chicken with ginger and spring onion. Its always scary trying somewhere new with my gluten intolerance but all was OK and I will definitely be going back.

We are staying at Sandy bay park.We ordered the set meal for 3 and some chips.Excellent phone service, no problem having it delivered to reception car park .We were called when 3 minutes away.Lovely meal and still have seconds for tomorrow..I highly recommend for anyone fancying some Chinese food while staying at the park .

Normally good but wouldn't recommend recently. Smallest portion of prawn crackers ever for £2.20, and chewy chicken. Not sure if it's "Sat night portions". Will try again, but defo not Fri or Sat.
