Great pub. Go there every time we visit the town. Great selection of alcohol

Chicken tikka masala for £9.49 - very watery sauce. I didn't get mango chutney even though it's on the menu. Loaded sundae £3.99 - served in a plastic cup (used many times - how is it steamed?). One scoop of ice cream (there are 3 on the menu). The TV plays loudly - beyond your ears. 10oz rump steak £14.99 - everything perfect, looks appetizing. One gentleman serves it quite efficiently. Nice, without unnecessary hassle like: is there anything else? Photo of the cup, scraped below.

An ex Wetherspoons pub. The same, but more expensive. Good choice of cask beer and nice and warm on a cold and windy day.

Vegan breakfast very stingy. Literally a tablespoon of cold beans, a tiny half tomato, cold slimey mushrooms. No soya milk or non-vegan butter. Not as good as other Spoons breakfasts Door slams loudly every time anyone comes in or out.

Couldn't find a carpark which was extremely stressful and involved a long walk. The food wasn't wonderful but it didn't matter because it was a family occasion and we had a lovely time.Dietary restrictions: Flexible with dietary requirementsKid-friendliness: Highchair available

An ex Wetherspoons pub. Few real ales available and more expensive than Spoons prices. Taylors Landlord is not bad. A tad noisy for me. Well fitted out venue.

Cheesy chips weren't very nice for the price. Dried up, not much cheese. Even my 8 year old grandson didn't eat any they were that poor.
