Very poor food, almost deep fried from Iceland or Farmfoods. We had a small garlic bread (about the size of a tea plate) and 2 very small tapas sharing platters.Left hungry and the quality of the food was really bad. Just under £40 and felt ripped off!

Called in yesterday after it was recommended. Very dog friendly plus great coffee and yummy home made scones(fruit and cheese) at a very reasonable price.

Very expensive for what it was. Three average sandwiches with no real garnish, a plain baguette, chips, two coffees and a lemonade for £35.60.

Beautiful place, with great live pianist playing a variety of festive and mellow tunes, lovely atmosphere, especially at this time of the year! Cosy, warm and welcoming. What a treat! ☺️

Booked a table for 6 to celebrate NYE. On arrival there had been a mistake with the booking and was shown to a small area in the corner. After so long of being sat down a man came over (who turned out to be the owner), who was very abrupt when telling us that this was his area for the evening. As a business owner surely his main priority would be to accommodate customers. After driving 4 hours from the midlands to celebrate NYE with a friend who is local, I would have expected a more gentleman approach rather than “I’m the owner”. He was rude, bulshy and should have more respect for his customers. Nathan, the manager, was very apologetic and said we are welcome to stay. I refused as I would rather be in an establishment that respected their customers and made them feel appreciated . I will not be returning to “the owners castle”!!!!
