Absolutely wonderful start to finish. Lovely wine selection, amazing friendly service from everyone and the food is top notch. Sea bass dish and duck and Guinea fowl as pictured were stunning….like 5 star hotel or Michelin star restaurant standard stunning. Well done team ????? Will definitely be back

A real gem in the heart of Berwickshire. If you blink you could miss out on the most incredible food and service. From the moment you walk in you recieve a warm embrace from the building and the decor exudes class and finery. Before you are taken to your table you are sat in a lounge area and you are served an amuse bouché/canapes whilst you're deciding on drinks and food for the table. A truly wonderful experience. We were served by the lovely Lesley and her close team member (who's name escapes me) both of which were perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they were both attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend for an all round fantastic dining experience, and that it was. Will most definitely be back.

Our first visit, yet we only live a short distance away. But it was so good, we return next week for more. We both chose the 6 course tasting menu and it was delicious and for fine dining it did not leave us hungry. The venue is lovely and extremely well decorated. The bar is good, serves cocktails and is a lovely relaxing space. We were seated in the restaurant up the stairs. Service was brilliant and all in all, it was well worth the £60 each, it really was. Back for Sunday lunch next week.

A gorgeous place. Very friendly and attentive staff. Beautifully laid tables. The food is excellent and so well presented. We had the Gressinham duck, the beef ribs and the pressed heritage potato main. All were first class and delicious.Vegetarian options: There were two good vegetarian options available.

Beautiful surroundings and very pleasant staff good customer skills. Firstly, my main moan I find wherever I go the food is not hot enough for me, the vegetables need a little more cooking. The meat on the plates was lovely and tender . Although I can not understand why cauliflower cheese goes with Sunday lunch?. Also no mash potato, only 2 roasties. My husband ordered a sweet appky crumble with cinamon x ice cream, and he said it was lovely. I went for the cheese board and thoroughly enjoyed it tee selection. We both thoroughly enjoy our food, and only next time will request a quick 2 minutes in the microwave before serving.

Visited for lunch and was very impressed. Nice room, pleasant friendly staff. Focaccia sandwich came with vegetable crisps, red cabbage coleslaw and salad. Enjoyed it very much and look forward to going again.
