Lovely pub, not for disabled people, no lift, all rooms upstairs.

Just popped in for a pint. Large, pleasant bar. Only 1 real ale on, Northumbrian Gold, but good pint in good condition. The unofficial station waiting room?

We had a great stay at the hotel, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and modern, and very well laid out. We had a nice view overlooking the railway station and beyond. Breakfast was very good and once again friendly helpful staff offering service with a smile.Rooms: Very comfortable, clean, and well appointed.Food & drinks: Good bar, with good service. Breakfast was very good too.

Friendly pub that is comfortable and excellent value. Great place to wait for a train (and charge a phone). Welcoming to a woman on her own. Others enjoying a night out. Lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended

Visited the Castle Hotel for a meal on a visit to Berwick-upon-Tweed, this week. Prior to finding this hotel we struggled to find somewhere to eat on a Wednesday evening. We had a lovely meal, good service from helpful staff. Conveniently situated near the train station where we had parked the car.

Bar was fine, beer good. My gripe is finding no lock or handle on the cubicle door in the gents is unacceptable.
First visit to the restaurant, decor, grey bare walls, but, but the food was delicious. No parking as part of the hotel set up, only parking on the street along side the building, then that's restricted until 5:30, check the parking information about times.Staff terrific always on the go keeping everyone supplied with their orders, to the point I felt more staff was required.Above all I would definitely return my next visit to the area.Ps prices very reasonable.

More than expected. We stayed in the apartment at the top of the hotel, so there were two flights of steps to climb. The rooms were clean, bright, and spacious with a private "large" bathroom with a separate shower, bathtub, sink, and WC. The hotel staff were very pleasant and were quick to help out with a payment issue that arose. Food was typical or this grade of hotel, with full English breakfast, cereals juices, coffee, and tea. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a great choice if staying in Berwick Upon Tweed.

We had a lovely overnight stay at this hotel. The staff were all very pleasant and polite to us. The room was a good size, clean and the bed comfy. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. We managed to park on the street outside the hotel. Would definitely go back.
Nice place for a quick
