Had a great experience at this lovely hotel. Simon the owner was very welcoming. Food was on point and the locals in the pub were great. Can’t recommend this place enough. I even slept in past check out time, and I didn’t get into any bother ?

Great B&B. Breakfast excellent - Full English + toast, cereals and fruit juices. Also tea, coffee in room. Bar downstairs, but we had travelled after a big part the night before , so didn't use it. We could hear the road (A1) but it did not stop us sleeping well. Within easy reach of the coast - Holy Island, Alnwick etc.

Brilliant manager. We were given a great feed upon arrival. Made to feel like royalty. Lovely room- my daughters loved the bunk beds. Only downside was the noise of the road which runs adjacent. During cooler months this would be better as we needed the windows to be open.
Absolutely a great place the staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The food was excellent and the price of everything was very affordable. Will definitely come again

What a great little place to stay. Breakfast included. It has its own pub inside and not overpriced. It was easy to find, plenty of parking and outside seating. I had a 4 bed room which was very spacious, clean, newly decorated and with great views. Even my pillow was the right height. That is a first for me. It's run by a family who has just started the business. We received a warm, friendly welcome. The family went out there way to make us as comfortable as possible. I couldn't fault the place. Well worth a stay.
