Visited the south beach pub.. was a very welcome atmosphere Staff were very friendly and advised on food and specials .. It’s a big difference since the refurb it’s defiantly more up to date Food was very nice and presented lovely,, it’s dog friendly .. music on in background .. pool table .. dart board .. it’s lovely and clean and smells fresh Disco on monthly bands on too I will defiantly be back ??

Ate here today as a family of 6 , 1 gluten free, phoned day before to check if gluten free beer to be told ran out, these things happen I suppose, arrived today ordered meals, no gluten free bread buns for daughters burger order so she had to change meal, the rest of us were happy with meals, I had a salad with bbq cauliflower wings, it was amazing, others had burgers and mixed grill, shame the service didn't stretch to someone running to tesco nxt door where plenty gluten free beers and buns, a profit would still have been made, great service from the young lad serving our table, he is very professional for age

* VEGAN RECOMMENDATION * Popped into the South Beach Pub for some lunch & being vegan it is always really hard to find good vegan food at a pub. I was impressed that they offered Vegan Chicken Strips and wow they were amazing! Any Vegetarians or Vegans looking for a vegan pub lunch in Blyth, the South Beach at Blyth is where it is at ?

Would never eat here have in the past not good everything pinged put sauce and mayonnaise bottles on tables not dated they don't realise that once opened only last a week cos they're kept on table and not in fridge even seen staff topping up half empty bottles from half empty bottles train yourself and train your staff have sachets not bottles they have no idea whatsoever you can blame the manager he should no better obviously had not been trained

The south beach pub is the heart of the community the staff are absolutely fantastic, Managment are brilliant and have made this pub what it is today. the newly refurbished area are absolutely beautiful. Perfect place for a chill night day out with the kids. Live entertainment every month including live bands and dj. Proud to call this my local

Family friendly...dog friendly...ideal for a couples night out or for a full family for a meal..pool table and jukebox..food amazing quality and value..staff all friendly and welcoming...entertainment and resident disco on at weekends...no need to go anywhere else this place has it all xx
