Had a wonderful prawn sizzler and lamb dopiaza. The food here is excellent and probably the best curry I’ve had in the UK. It’s best to arrive early on a Friday because it can get very busy. Atmosphere is excellent and the staff add to the ambience.Vegetarian options: The is a very tasty vegetarian selection.

Can't complain about any of our order. Got a kebab meat with chips and garlic for the bairn which was thoroughly enjoyed. I had a tandoori chicken wrap with chips and garlic and have to say that was absolutely unbelievable aswell. My partner who may I state is a nightmare to get to enjoy some take aways had a battered beef burger and chips with curry and said that was absolutely fantastic aswell! 10 out of 10! Can't wait to order again.

Great food cooked too order, so very fresh.Just wish the server had been a bit more personable. He took the order perfunctorially, later checked one last of the order in a deadpan monotone way and when the order was ready just said 'thanks' in our direction whilst putting the bag on the counter. There was no smile, no jovial interaction, no conversation and the shop was not busy, only us and one other customer.Parking: Free parking across the front of the street by the shops or on local streets, reasonably easy to park.

Myself and my wife went in the Coastline for a cup of tea, but after smelling the food we just had to have some. And for the money we have to pay these days, it's fair to say you get value for money. I had fish chips and mushy peas it also came with a bread roll and a cup of tea all at a set price of I think it was £14, my wife had cheesey chips Spam fritter and beans and coffee and a extra portion of gravy, came to around £11, the portions were very plentiful, cooked really nice the cod was delicious the batter was awesome and the chips were beaut, the fritter was huge and the Mrs said it was gorgeous. The staff were very nice. Chatty and friendly, it was a great place to go in on the of chance and I would recommend the Coastline to anyone.

Really good food, served hot and couldn't fault it. I had king Prawn Chicken in spicy Shwezan sauce, not too hot..in fact absolutly perfect. My husband had Crispy Beef and veg. Came to the South Beach for a kids Christmas party. Never been before but I will be back. The kids loved the whole experience and Santa too. Plenty of party games and dancing, my son had a ball! We were made to feel very welcome by Simon and Mairi-Claire who are really nice and made our wee group feel like family. Great atmosphere in the pub as a whole and the food smelled delish. We didn't have any so can't comment. Thanks again guys, we can't wait.to come back to see you!

With some branches we've visited the burgers look like they've been through a steam roller and they are always luke warm. Sometimes the fries are cold too and I can't stand cold chips/fries. Yesterday we decided to have a bite in here as we had a concert in Gateshead and didn't have long before we needed to leave. I had the McSpicy and hubby had a double quarter pounder with cheese. We both had fries. The burgers looked like burgers and weren't like pancakes. The fries were lovely and hot. We really enjoyed it.The negatives are that we used the self service screen as the counter was so busy with just eat, Uber etc. It didn't give us a number or receipt so I had to go to the counter anyway. It seemed to be pandemonium behind the counter but the guy I spoke to was very pleasant. No one came out to look at the self service machine and it kept happening. The delivery drivers all congregate and clog up the counter.I would return and the branch has restored my faith in getting a good burger and fries quickly and one that's edible. Friendly and supportive staff. We got here with the intention to have lunch and was told the kitchen got burnt yesterday. I sympathize with them. But we were told that we can order fish n chips. Mehn! We ate and ate and was overly excited at the meal even though none of us finished their meal. I will eat their cod fish and chips over and over. We got two cods and several other dishes. We were five but ordered 6 different dishes and got 5. When we realized that the 6th was missing, we called one of the staff who apologized, got the meal after few minutes and told us not to pay for it. I wished I could give more. I highly recommended this place for their kind and helpful service and I will sure visit again. Past this place following a walk from Seaton sluice to blyth and as it was time for a cuppa decided to try here. Was busy inside so we decided to sit out. The cakes on display all looked great and we asked for a chocolate brownie. Unfortunately they were only available with cream or ice cream neither of which we fancied and they girl said she could serve it without but as ‘the till was programmed’ we’d be charged for the extras. Hence marking down service by one star as I’m sure a deduction on the till could have been made. We had the peanut butter slice instead and was delicious. Not too sweet and plenty to share between 2. We sat outside with a lovely view of the park. Was very relaxing

We were just staying for one night. I'd read some of the reviews and wasn't expecting much but think that the bad reviews for this place are unjustified. Yes you enter the property by the back gate and stairs which isn't the most flattering view of the property but not an issue, more difficult with small kids or the elderly of course. You can park right outside for free and it's less than a 5 min walk to the centre of town. The room itself was large, clean with flat screen TV, WiFi and tea and coffee. Bed was ok, mattress not the best but fine for one night, slept well. Breakfast is continental, it's fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee, orange juice, cereal, crumpets, small croissants etc. It's basically a little help yourself station. The two things they could do better, a little eating area for breakfast and to get rid of some marks on the bedroom wall. I believe that they are currently decorating so may be on course to do this. Overall for £50 it met my expectations and I would stay again. If you are staying here please don't expect the Ritz for budget prices. This place is comfy and fine for what we needed, breakfast was nice. It would definitely be better to enter the b&b through the front door if possible.
