Excellent cafe set over 2 floors. Waitress service with a good range of foods and drinks-( also licensed if you fancy a tipple) with toilets upstairs. I had carrot and lentil soup with a cheese scone which was delicious. He enjoyed a tuna mayonnaise sarnie with some lovely little salads and a lemon slice. 2 pots of tea brought bill to around £23. Very popular, very friendly and very good ?

Delicious soup and scone with pot of tea.

The owner doesn't know the law about discrimination act 2010 and about service dogs, allowing only guided dogs. Very uncomfortable situation experienced here.

Lovely lunch with friends today. Attentive service and delicious food. My jacket potato was really good with a nice selection for side salad. Lovely carrot cake to finish too

Been two or three times and will go again. I like good coffee and The Watlings is good. Not a restaurant, but offers a good range of breakfast, light bite lunch options and cakes etc. Everything I've tried so far has been good ...or better.Dietary restrictions: Modest gluten and dairy free choices

Lovely cafe in Corbridge. We called in for breakfast.Unfortunately we called in a little after the breakfast menu had finished but the lovely staff still allowed us to have bacon sandwiches which were excellent as was the great pot of tea. Would definitely go back.

Supposed to open at 9:00. I arrived at 9:10 today after a 2hrs drive expecting to get coffee and breakfast. There was no sign of life. Poor show!

Excellent choice; great quality and fantastic, friendly staff. One of our group is gluten intolerant and she was particularly well taken care of.

Great lady in charge. Having problems with the coffee grinder. She explained what was happening , said what she was going to do about and what the outcome would be. All sorted, nice pot of tea, good Minestrone soup and a nice ginger cake to follow. Nice and clean would call again.

Amazing cafe we discovered when looking for breakfast. Really friendly and welcoming with seating upstairs and downstairs. Plus fab toilets with lots of space for baby changing which you don't often see! Would highly recommend a d we'll certainly be back when up that way again.

After a long car journey we came here for a snack and waited a few minutes. Asked if we could order a snack however as it was 5 past 3 and they stopped serving food at 3 this would not be possible. The server added rather dismissively that we would not be able to eat anywhere else in Corbridge as no where served food after 3. We left and took a walk on Corbridge high street where we able to get 2 nice sandwiches at The Corbridge Larder with extremely helpful staff.

A proper find on a stop-over in Corbridge and well worth taking the time to walk the couple of minutes from the centre of town to get to it. Lovely ambience, very friendly staff and (most importantly) the coffee is good. The menu is good, all the food appears to be made in-house and is really well presented on the plate. I had the best eggs Benedict I've eaten in a very long while. The eggs were perfect, as was the hollandaise. Really nice presentation and it was actually warm. So often I find my eggs ben arrive in front of me tepid at best so I was very pleased to have some heat in my breakfast! No photo I'm afraid as I'd wolfed it all down before I thought about writing a review.... It's obvious that the people here have a passion for what they do and that makes it stands out above the rest. Thanks to all at this lovely café.
