Casa Rosso
18-22 Front St, CorbridgeDog friendly! We had an amazing meal here whilst staying in Corbridge for the weekend. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. And the best part for us, it's dog friendly! Dogs are only allowed in one room so don't let that put you off if you're not a dog lover. We will definitely be coming back the next time we visit Corbridge.

The Corbridge Larder
18 Hill St, CorbridgeThis place is wonderful and very popular. Food is amazing and the coffee and tea selection was amazing. Fantastic vegi/vegan options and catered for my wife's dairy allergy offering to make anything on the menu dairy free where possible.

Il Piccolo
St Helen's St, CorbridgeThis was our second visit and the food is very authentic Italian cooking. The staff are warm and friendly always willing to talk through the menu and specials board. I’d already told my wife that I would maybe just have a main, quickly become distracted by options and had a starter, main and then a dessert. When we visit friends in Corbridge again I will insist we return to this restaurant ?

Corbridge Sandwich Bar
1 Middle St, CorbridgeWe visited Corbridge Sandwich during a recent visit to the village. There was so many choices of fillings for sandwiches and paninis as well as lunch options and tray bakes. We went for breakfast rolls and we were not disappointed. Tasty, filling and reasonably priced too. We made a second visit a couple of days later it was so good. Give it a try if you’re visiting.

Tea and Tipple
18 Market Pl, CorbridgeI first visited this delightful Cafe With my daughter who highly recommended it I was not disappointed. So when we visited later in the year I persuaded my husband to try it.Very busy but a table for 2 was ready in a very short time,& order taken for drinks .The specials were advised along with a good choice menu.Ham Hock broth was our choice served with lovely bread,Superb ,a meal in a dish,so tasty & filling. The staff were helpful, & cheerful!!What a bonus in these times of gloom. The lady in charge works with her staff & obviously promotes good customer service . Whenever we are visiting this will definitely be on my "must visit" Corbridge is a very picturesque olde world town ,lots of small shops & a walkable distance.plus next to the river.

Craft Works Gallery
The Forge Bridge End, CorbridgeThis place is a hidden gem, literally!! Lots of nice stuff in here, and I particularly liked the silver jewellery and leather ware. Not much parking at the front, so I would suggest parking in the free car park on the south side of the Tyne, and taking a 250m wonderfully scenic stroll across the bridge.

Angel Street Food
C/O Angel Inn Main Street, Corbridge- although I did take a short walk around the block to see where else I could eat in town. However, I already knew there was a great selection of beers on tap, and the menu looked inviting. I ate dinner in both nights I stayed there; the onion rings with my sausages the second night were the best I've ever tasted, with an almost Japanese batter. Breakfast was also a very good offering, especially the eggs with smoked salmon.

The Wheatsheaf
St Helen's St, CorbridgeWe stayed 1st to 3rd march room clean and tidy I must say their new chef who tells me has only been there a month his food was cooked and presentation and taste was done to perfection his standard is really good we could not fault it well done he is a asset to place. If I had to pick fault we found the restaurant staff seemed to have little interest in their customers if you wanted anything you had to go and find someone only to find them peering in to their phone in the bar don’t let your chef down on the whole a good stayDavid and Ruth
