Got an order delivered Christmas Eve through Cramlington eats, unfortunately probably one of the worst takeaway curries I’ve had. Ordered a chicken tikka masala and it was runny and tasteless. Spicy chips arrived luke warm.

Polite kind and welcoming staff a pleasure to dine here. Always welcome with a smile and make a effort to take all considerations into mind. Would return here anytime and will do with friends. Blend of spices and herbs in the food is exquisite whether hot or plain is your type the flavours all compliment each other.

We went for the Early Bird special menu. Good choices of starters and mains and excellent value for money. Very quiet when we arrived and it got warmer as more people arrived. Obviously a popular venue which we may well visit again.

We ordered a take out for my birthday as most of the local Indian restaurants were closed on Tuesday-why??? Anyway their loss was our gain the Bayleaf definitely filled the void, chicken madras and king prawn madras was impeccable together with the accompanying extras!! Hot, tasty and reasonably priced we could not fault this restaurant and will definitely be back.

I ordered here last night for the first time and I wasn't blown away, to be honest. I will say that the onion bhaji was VERY nice and the puri bread very light, but all of the food was luke warm at best, the bhuna prawn didn't have a great deal of flavour and the chicken tikka was SO DRY I had to smother it in mint sauce. I'd order again in the hope that it was a one off based on other reviews, but first impressions weren't great. Delivery was spot on, though.

Food was OK, but curry sauce was a little bland. Front of house wasn't at the front of house however the portion size is good.

The food from here is absolutely phenomenal. The rice is extremely light, the curries are packed with flavour, the naan breads are beautiful, and the onion bhaji are lovely. I can almost guarantee the rest of the food would be just as good. Best Indian takeaway around.

I have used bay leaf before without complaint. Today’s takeaway did not have much flavour. The popadums were not crisp. In fact the naan bread was crispier. (Dry and flaky) I requested a peshwari naan but that didn’t happen. It is unlikely I will use bay leaf again.

Just had the worst tikka vindaloo I’ve ever tasted. Complete laziness by the chef and just adding a load of chilli powder to some base gravy. Shocking won’t be going back!
