We had an amazing meal here after Newcastle Races, the food was some of the best we've had. We both had poppadum's to start with a large selection of condiments - a couple were very spicy which my husband likes then we followed them by the onion bhaji starter and meat chatt on puri which was delicious. We've not sat in the restaurant, but we have had many takeaways over the last couple of months or so. After looking for a new takeaway we decided to try Moti Jheel, and they have yet to disappoint (hopefully not). I would encourage anybody to go out of your comfort zone. Chicken Katmi, Pimento and Kartoush are very tasty (all about the flavours). The chicken is always very tender. We don't go anywhere else now. The restaurant doesn't serve alcohol, but you can take your own. *****
