Ten stars for food, service and the view!! Perfect good size cafe with inside and outside sitting areas, well designed. Any plane lover should stop by. We had a soup, toastie, coffee and a cake, all of which were just delicious. Ladies behind the counter and all the other staff at the airfield provide excellent service. This was our first visit and certainly not last.

Popped by on a rainy afternoon for coffee and found the owner to be so welcoming of us, our family and our dog. Coffee was fantastic and the owner really went out her way to attend to us, bringing toys for our son and telling us about the airfield. We'll be back next time we holiday to explore the menu more. Please give this place a visit, well worth it.Kid-friendliness: So attentive, kids toys and puzzles available.

For a small working airfield, with limited resources the food and service is great. If you're lucky you will see some ac landing and taking off.

Great little cafe right next to the runway. Great for a cuppa and a bit of cake, and letting the kids watch some planes take off and land.

A nice cafe to sit and watch planes but I won't be ordering food again. I was told there would be a bit of a delay when I requested a ham sandwich. I waited nearly an hour. The food was ok but not worth the wait or the £7.50 price.

Excellent lunch stop, with huge doorstop sandwiches. Good place to watch the aircraft landing and taking off. Outside seating on a sunny day.

Lovely place to sit and relax while watching light aircraft. Really friendly staff and great food. Only open Thursday to Sunday, worth a stop if you are passing and fancy a coffee or a bite to eat. Lots of events throughout the year so it's good to follow them on Facebook.

Went this morning and had a lovely time. The lady (I think she must have been the owner) was extremely welcoming and was lovely with my two year old.The views were fantastic, we saw two take offs and one landing. The cafe itself is well done so views are at a maximum, coffee great and cakes very tasty. Also very affordable.I'll definitely be returning and have recommended to friends with children already.Kid-friendliness: A couple of toys there and colouring in. Staff extremely child friendly.

80th birthday present 30minute coast and castle. Over too fast. Had an amazing time with my nephew. Pilots were friendly and views fantastic. Unfortunately cafe was closed.
