Dobson Restaurant
Longhorsley, MorpethThe restaurant has a great vibe and the personnel is really attentive. Dinner was an overall great experience, starter to dessert and the drink I had was awesome! A couple of the dishes were a bit salty, and the duck confit ended up a little on the dry side, but nothing to put us off. The mash was of the best I have tasted, silky and tasty. The only way I can fairly describe the cheesecake is with the word superb. I would visit again.

Shoulder Of Mutton
East Rd, Longhorsley, MorpethMy husband, daughter and I decided to have lunch at this venue after reading some good reviews and we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and helpful without hovering or making us feel rushed. The portion sizes and quality provide excellent value for money and the menu is extensive and varied. We will certainly be back!

Nelson's at the Park
Pavilion, The Avenue, Swarland, MorpethI had a wonderful Mother's Day meal. The food was delicious. We had baked potatoes and they came with a beautiful salad that made the dish feel special. Service was excellent, very friendly, and the atmosphere was great. We will be back.

2-4 Riverside, Felton, MorpethWe stumbled upon this gem when heading home from a holiday in Northumberland and needing a breakfast stop. Great quality and good portions. We also bought lunch as a take out for our journey. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Cafe very clean and well presented. Outside seating catches the morning sun too. Book to be sure of a seat inside.

Cheerful and efficient service and great food.

Bockenfield Country Park, FeltonWe're about to leave Olives Place after 3 nights here. I have to say from start to finish what an amazing place this is. I highly recommend staying here. We were greeted by a welcome pack comprising bottle of prosecco, bar of chocolate and large packet of crisps. I thought this was a lovely touch by the owners. The kitchen is very well equipped with good quality cooking implements. It is decorated very tastefully with lots of throws to cuddle up into whilst relaxing on the sofa or outside on the large verandah had the weather been less rainy. The hot tub was to die for. We have 2 small dogs who loved being here too. There is a short walk on the site for dogs on leads. There are a number of other places to drive to if you want to let them have a long off lead run. This vacation has been just what was needed after a stressful time. We leave feeling totally recharged and relaxed. Thankyou so much for giving us such a lovely time. We will definitely be back.

Percy Wood Golf and Country Retreat
Leamington Ln, Swarland, MorpethI had a lovely 3 night stay with family on 30th May - 2nd June 2025. We stayed in lodge 26 Leaf Lane, the lodge was spotlessly clean through out, it had all the amenities that we needed and the hot tub was an added bonus. The site itself is really big, I understand why a lot of people use golf buggies to get around on, thankfully we cars to get around and go up to the restaurant. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. I booked through Airbnb, host name Adam. The process was seamless and would definitely book to come again.

Crazy Horse Saloon n Grill
Eshotteugh, MorpethLots of fun to be had. A great arcade room. Food is plentiful, ranging from pizza to an amazing steak pie. Live entertainment every Saturday and bingo through the week. Other entertainment can be found during peak seasons. There is also a sports bar at the smaller sister pub called The Chiefs.

Linden Tree Pub
Longhorsley, MorpethWe had Sunday lunch today and I could not fault the food or the service. We both ordered the veggie wellington, which was more of the filo parcel, but it was great. Full of flavour and didn’t feel like an afterthought like in a lot of places when offering vegetarian Sunday lunch options. The parcel was filled with beans and lentils, and very very tasty, this was accompanied by all the usual roast extras, Yorkshire pudding, roast and mashed potato, crunchy perfectly cooked veg.
We followed up with crumble and sticky toffee pudding, and again they were very tasty and a great end to the meal.
The staff were very attentive without being annoying, and the service was excellent. They were clearly trying to provide a first class service, and they did just that.
We would definitely go back if we were in the area again.
