I'm someone who likes their food plain & bland but I have tried various dishes on the menu and all have been really nice. We were there on Saturday 23rd September and I decided to try their honeypot dessert and OMG, it was delicious. It's my favourite thing on their menu. The staff are always lovely and helpful as wellKid-friendliness: There's a really good selection of kids meals

Went for Sunday dinner with my family. The service given by Meg was incredible, she was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed!

We spent a few hours at the Swan at the end of our group walk. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and welcome. A great place to stop. Praise to Kim & Callum

Popped in for Sunday lunch as we were in the area. Had used other vintage inns before and had good experience so expectations were good. Arrived at 12:30, reasonable first impression with a few families eating, good selection of beer. Ordered two beef lunches and they arrived promptly. Sadly for the price of £18 ea they were extremely poor quality. Beef was a couple of thinly sliced overcooked pieces, vegetable selection included some overcooked broccoli and a strange carrot that arrived both dry and rubbery. A level I would not expect a chef to let leave a kitchen.

Awful food but great pub and very helpful staff. As it was a birthday meal for my mam’s 83rd birthday nobody wanted to complain but the fish and chips three of us had said it was the worst we had , had. Definitely reheated - not good when paying £15:95!

After discovering the Hearth no longer does Sunday roasts, we headed to the Swan for lunch. A table near the bar was available and we ordered the turkey and beef. Staff were attentive. The food quality was good with decent portion sizes and gravy was lovely. We would definitely recommend, a nice pub food, helpful staff, tasty food, what's not to like... happy days!

great service from Janet & Ollie. Good food and a very nice Rioja to go with it. A very dog friendly place with water, biscuits and dog bags outside. Plenty of outside seating, with views across the valley.

Food: fills the stomach and the heart. They taste as if made with sincerity and love. Highlights were the sticky crispy chicken and the signature burger, which had the best onion rings I've eaten to date. My mother loved the latte and dark chocolate brownie too.Atmosphere: the interiors are relaxed, spacious, and light.Service: delivery was within great time. Janet especially was very accommodating, and Kim was industrious behind the scenes.

Booked for a family 90th birthday, the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Really made our day special, and the food was really lovely too - generous portions, quick service and very tasty. Faultless. A big thank you to the team
