The food was excellent and prepared quite well. The menu offers a great variety of items. The weight staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to this restaurant.
Pleasant country pub with friendly staff. Enjoyed watching the Newcastle United match on Sky Sports whilst there. They served a nice pint of Boddingtons; something that seems to be hard to get these days!

Well. Was planning a light meal but ... no luck here. The largest meal I ate in all England ... and Scotland, so far. This remembers some country side meals I had in Portugal. Good times. Unfortunately the food was not very tasty and my stomach complained a bit the week after.Staff was nice, great atmosphere with music from the 80's, not the new rubbish music. Pretty quiet for a pub.
