I find Danielle's difficult to review. It has many good points. The atmosphere is good. The restaurant itself is a nice place to be. Decent size tables, attractive lighting (no bright coloured LEDs) and very relaxed. The staff were friendly and helpful. For me (and I must emphasise that this is purely my opinion - I know from the reviews that many would disagree) I just feel that the menu is rather uninspiring and the food itself, whilst ok, was nothing special and rather unmemorable. Prices are not unreasonable, I just found the food dull, like something from the 70's, which to be fair could be exactly what you want. This restaurant clearly has loyal fans, but I do feel the menu could up its game.

The main courses were delicious. My wife had doubts about the trifle where she suspected the fruit inside was canned or frozen. My pudding was first rate. The staff were friendly. Service was quick and efficient. A nice atmosphere - we felt very comfortable.

I booked Danielle's for a large group booking (14) based on reviews and we were all very impressed with the menu choices, quality of the food and service provided. Add to this great value. A two or three course set price menu with the option to pay more to grade any course should something else take your fancy, Highly recommended for very good food, in a friendly atmosphere without blowing the budget.

Went here for the first time ever with a group of 12. Fantastic! Lovely staff, attentive, quick and accurate. Great atmosphere, lots of chatter although easy to hear people. Reasonable prices. We parked just round the corner near the Abbey. A great night and now we've found where this gem is hiding, we'll be back!
Booked for a group of 13, staff Christmas night out. We pre-ordered our food to make it easier. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Staff were attentive but not in your face. Food came out promptly and fantastic quality. This is the 2nd year in a row we've had our staff night here. There is a reason for that!!! Highly recommended and great value for money.
