Called in today to buy products for a picnic. We opted for the steak & black pudding pie a cornbeef pasty & cream scone. The pie was brimming with thick chunks of steak & a topping of black pudding. The pasty was soft & delicious & the fruity cream scone was lovely. We enjoyed our picnic down by the river.

If you are ever visiting Rothbury you must visit this bakery. Firstly, I have to say I could have eaten everything in the shop there was so much choice. I settled for a strawberry danish and cream scone with a latte. Delicious! I’d also like to say that the staff were so lovely and friendly. This is a great bakery and definitely not closed as mentioned in another review.

Delicious pork pies and cakes (especially cherry & almond), originally popped in after Cragside but we went back for more on the way back home after our holiday! Another review says this bakery is closed but they must have it confused with the other one that's shut as we went to this one last Saturday, 8th July.

This business is currently CLOSED, pending a sale. There is another bakery in the village, and you can get sandwiches, etc, at the deli attached to Rothbury butchers.
