Stopped for a Sunday lunch. Very good value for money. Foid was piping hot and fresh tasting. Impressed with the 6 different cuts of meat. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was myvery first visit and I will certainly be looking out for it again when I'm in the area. The beer garden to the rear has the most splendid view whatever the time of year.

I have stayed here a couple of times now.It’s always lovely and clean.All staff are so friendly and make you feel welcome.The food is delicious.I stay out of season when it’s not the best weather outside and that log burner was so welcoming after a long walk.I will definitely be back hopefully before Christmas.I call this place my bolt-hole ?I would definitely recommend this place.

We haven't been here for such a long time and decided to call in today for Sunday lunch.I must say it was superb, the choice of 4 different meats and how many slices you would like was really good.The veg was served fresh and cooked to perfection .A nice touch was the offer of minted gravy.
