Had my first outing to the market place cafe on Wednesday and it was fab, despite we were later in going they were lovely and served us right up until closing. I had the chocolate orange brownie and I was very happy to see it was vegan meaning my dietary restrictions weren’t affected. I love this little boards they are served on. The flavour was gorgeous and I would definitely recommend. I also had a hot chocolate which was beautiful and VERY full. I would definitely be back. The cafe part is expanding and work is being done aswell as the loos being updated and I can’t wait to see what they do next. There is a small shop aswell full of eco & sustainable items to make our journeys to a more sustainable living easier.Dietary restrictions: They do a lot of GF and vegan options catering for a wide selection of dietary restrictionsParking: Parking is ample around morpeth itself with all free car parks. From the nearest car park it’s less than a 2 minute walk.

Can't rate the food fairly as didn't eat, reason being we waited for an age to be served and left. Staff seemed overworked and struggle to meet demands. Wouldn't

Phenomenal brilliant place to come and eat. I had the berry blast smoothie which was excellent. Turkish eggs was one of the best dishes I have ever tasted. Finally the pican and maple tart is to die for its very rich and tasty. The staff where all very kind and helpful.Brilliant place to go

Have popped in here twice. The first time we didn't realize they only served food Weds-Sat but we stopped for a hot drink. The server was abrupt and seemed quite vacant when I paid. She didn't know what we'd had but we were honest and paid our dues. The 2nd time I visited with friends. It was fairly busy but there were plenty of servers. They didn't take our order for some time and then they only brought 1 cup of tea instead of 2. The young lady looked miserable and very fed up. 2 of us had the mackerel on toast and 1 the beans on toast. It was all hot. I don't think I'd return again and this is mainly due to the poor reception you get when you go in. No welcoming smiles or hellos and you actually feel a little awkward.NB There isn't a toilet to use here so make sure you go before coming in. The chap next to us needed to use the toilet and had to go to Sanderson Arcade, just as his tea turned up. ?Parking: You need a parking disc which gives you 3 hours. There's usually plenty of car parking.
