I was visiting Morpeth for the first time and went here with my partners family. I was very impressed with the service and the quality of the food. There were plenty of vegetarian options. Very good surroundings with plenty of atmosphere. I would recommend for sure.
Situated just off the main street, on Old Gate in front of the imposing clock tower, the nondescript entrance hides something truly special. On entering, I was greeted immediately and seated at a table. The style and surroundings are intimate, with around 15 tables, but in no way does it feel cramped! Went for lunch. 3 courses for £9.95. Excellent service and value. It’s a smaller menu than evening but something for everyone. Main course with rice are a smaller portion but perfectly adequate for a normal person at lunch time
