What a fabulous little pub. I called in out the blue after missing my bus back to Newcastle. Everyone was so friendly from the barman to the few customers who arrived after me. The beer is great & what made it even better was the fact there was no TV. I'd definitely recommend this pub if your in Rothbury. I'll definitely call in again when I'm next in Rothbury for a couple of post walk pints.

This venue is classified as a micro pub and only sold alcohol and soft drinks. If this was what you were expecting then the staff made those who visited it made you most welcome.It was also a dog friendly venue.

Fab wee find. No frills no food, no fuss just a great place for a drink or two. Small and popular, get there early. Love the bus/train seats.

What a fantastic little find. True definition of micropub. A delightful selection of excellent ales. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere.....only thing I don't understand is why this doesn't have a 5 star rating! 5 out of 5 from me and if we ever venture up this way again, we're certain to call in.Good luck for the future!
