Brilliant place for food and a beer. Selection of sandwiches one day. Then went for Sunday dinner, first time I've cleared my plate in years, superb food ?

All round excellent! We have stayed in both the bungalow with a larger party and in the pub for just the two of us. Best dinner served on both evenings and the breakfasts were amazing but it’s the super friendly, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere that the staff promote from the minute you arrive to when you check out. We love it here; rooms are super cozy, beautifully clean and quiet. Love it! ? 10/10 every time, thank you!!!!

Enjoyed the local beer Rivet Catcher ?

Quirky busy seaside pub, reserved the table out from underneath us.

Direct view to seahouses harbour working boats, eider ducks and various seabirds and waders, depending on the tides, from the beer garden. Amazing ales, great food, very dog friendly and great staff, A proper pub by the sea. Didn't stay in the hotel section so unable to comment.

Just had to say, what on earth have you done with your prices ?? We been visiting for years, but my goodness not anymore, popped in for a drink n meal recently, what a shock £14 for a pint n a glass of basic red wine, give up man!! And the menu phew!! I bet the locals sat round the front bar were having a right laugh!!! Best way to loose your holiday trade ….

Popped in for a refresher & bowl of soup, and one of chunky chips and a pint. Its an incredibly fascinating bar, awash with marine artefacts. You name any item from a sailing vessel, and it'll be hanging up in that bar...

Such a lovely place and the staff are friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble in the restaurant. Many people tweaking their orders and the staff organising it. The food was plentiful and truly delicious. 100 out of 100 and a gold star.Rooms: Small and cosy. Clean and modern.Nearby activities: Lots to do in Seahouses. A small fishing town with a big heart. Beaches, swimming pool, great walks, food and just lovely.Safety: All safe and secure. Seems very friendly. The only police I saw was when they stopped, pulled up at the public toilets.....to use the facilities.Walkability: Almost flat. A few slight hills either side of the harbour. Easy for walking even with a walking frame or walking stick.Food & drinks: Food for all your finances. You really could spend as little or as much as you wanted. The butchers looked top notch.Noteworthy details: A beautiful place to visit.

Making my third visit to this pub. In 1986 we had our first post children weekend away staying in this Good Beer Guide pub.( Left kids with Grandparents.) Hardly changed in 40 years. The walls and ceilings are covered in bric a brac. All perfectly polished and gleaming. Ic and Flic loved the real ale selection. Ic and Flic tried Cheviot Brewery Sea Stack.A 3.7% beer. Ic loved it, Flic not so much. A superb pub.

Great pub so traditional... so few of these left now. The staff are great we are staying for 2 nights. The food is amazing. The fish was haddock which must have been a foot long. It was meaty and so white best fish I have had in 20 years since some John dory in New Zealand. Beautiful bedroom spotless and smart bathroom. ?
