98 Main St, SeahousesWhat a wonderful holiday - I wish we were back in Seahouses and staying at Dunelm House again already!The b&b is fresh, spotlessly clean, quiet, and cosy. It's in a great, central location - a stone's throw away from the main street in Seahouses so a ten minute walk to the harbourside.Suzanne is a friendly, welcoming host and a font of local knowledge. Breakfast is served at a communal table which is great for meeting people from all over and picking up tips about what to see and do each day. The breakfast menu is varied and not a single dish disappointed. My favourites were the cinnamon French toast (great hangover cure) and the Full Northumbrian - a hearty take on the classic Full English with spectacular local bangers and the tastiest grilled tomatoes you'll ever have.Can't wait for our next visit, thank you Suzanne!

2 King St, SeahousesWe were visiting the surrounding area from Wiltshire and found this lovely cafe on the last day of our holiday (wish we had found it earlier!!) such welcoming staff and the food, especially the homemade cakes were delicious, very reasonably priced too, a cafe not to be missed!!

The Bistro at Seahouses Golf Club
Beadnell Road, SeahousesFirst visited for lunch last October and were impressed with the food and beautiful views over the golf course and the sea beyond. Keen to visit again this year when back in the area and did not disappoint. Lovely light lunches, friendly staff and pleasant outdoor seating area. We will be back!

Black Swan Inn
2 Union St, SeahousesI booked Sunday 17 march for Sunday lunch 3 weeks before. We arrived at 4.30 to be told they had run out of Sunday lunch, lamb and belly pork. Disappointed doesn't come close!! Basically fish or burgers available. I ended up with a starter of scallops in cheese sauce which was absolutely lovely. Lacking in atmosphere and very cold. If I had been told that Sunday lunch may not be available at that time I would have gone elsewhere.

40 Main St, SeahousesFirst time I have used this restaurant for a take away meal .Ordered via phone ( friendly and concise when reading order back ).Time Specified for collection was spot on .Staff and Manager upon entry were welcoming and friendly .Food was piping hot , and temperature was maintained until I got home and throughout the meal.Good delicious, and the items we chose complimented each other very well.Will definitely recommend Indian Brasserie for take away, and looking forward to eating in the restaurant next time .Great food -Thank you

28 North St, SeahousesLovely dog friendly pub with a great atmosphere and nice pint.Holidaying in Seahouses and looking for a comfy pub to relax and chill with my dog after exploring the area, we were welcomed in and made to feel at home within minutes. Staff so friendly and made fuss of dog and provided water so that he'd settle. Cheap and lovely beer and seating areas comfy with TV's showing sport. The locals made us comfortable and at home. Returned for next 3 nights of visit

1 Seafield Rd, SeahousesUsed the ice cream van in the harbour. Items not as listed on menu but excellent quality. I asked for a ‘99, expecting Mr Whippy style ice cream however I received a double scoop of soft serve on a cone instead. Was a delicious substitute, just not expected

Spice House
52 Main St, SeahousesWe have eaten at the Spice House on several occasions & always had excellent food . Tonight we ordered a take away and I ordered a dish not on the menu ( keema mushroom bhuna ) without hesitation they said they would cook it and it was delicious. My hubby always has a ‘home style’ curry which is to be recommended for those who like a hot spicy curry . Would definitely recommend eating there. ?

52A Main St, SeahousesThis is a little gem hidden away in Seahouses. We were greeted on arrival and shown a table by a lovely waitress. Drink orders were taken quickly and we took out time perusing an extensive menu. I chose Linguine Mare and hubby had Pollo Cacciatore. The food arrived and was obviously freshly cooked. Both meals were delicious. The waitress kept popping back to make sure everything was OK. We are small eaters so didn't have a starter or a sweet. This was the best meal during our stay in Seahouses, what a lovely way to end our break. Thank you Insieme. Would highly recommend this lovely restaurant. B

Seahouses Chinese Takeaway
Seahouses Chinese Take Away, 55 Main St, SeahousesQuick, friendly service. We had sesame prawn toast, king prawn curry and hong kong sweet and sour chicken. Prawn toast was double the portion we get in our home local takeaway and much cheaper..it was tasty and not greasy. Main portions were generous and very tasty and because chips or rice were included in the price it was a very good deal.Well done to you all.

The Wynding, Beadnell, ChathillThe food and service here are outstanding. Our group of six met up on two consecutive days for dinner, and no-one was disappointed. The fish and chips are highly recommended. I'd say it was the best fish I've ever tasted. Large and meaty with a perfect crispy batter it was devoid of any grease. The Thai curry went down well. Staff are pleasant and accommodating, and there's a wide selection of craft beers on offer. This is a dog friendly pub, and it's very noticeable, so it is best avoided if you're not happy sharing your space with our four-legged friends.
