This hidden gem is well worth a visit. The food is way above what you’d expect in n urban bistro restaurant. Everything is home-made all the Yorkshire puddings in the Sunday roast to the melt in the mouth pastries in the deserts. We came here for Sunday lunch. I had fish pie (the finest fish pie I have eaten in my life. My partner had a traditional Sunday roast pork. Both meals were amazing and tremendous value! For dessert we shared the apple tart with vanilla ice cream again amazing if you like good food then you must try this place. You won’t find a better unless it has a Michelin star. The staff are very welcoming and friendly too! Had our regular haunt not being fully booked. we would never have discovered this place. What a great way to kick off 2024!

Second time been for Sunday Lunch absolutely amazing Potato and Leek soup was delicious 2 big slices of Roast Turkey/Roast Beef Roast Potatoes Mash Yorkshire and Veg. Staff super friendly make you feel right at home will definitely be back x

Fantastic group Christmas meal here, with excellent, welcoming and friendly staff who added to the festive atmosphere. The food was delicious and it was lovely, as a vegetarian, to be offered a meal that matched the roast dinner. We were given plenty of vegetables, which are often lacking. I understand the chef will accommodate individual choices, if you just give a couple of days’ notice. How lovely is that! I can highly recommend the place based on our experience.
A lovely experience, fantastic new decor, delicious food and friendly hosts. Now also dog friendly, we’ll definitely be back!

Staff were very welcoming and service was very good.Room was clean and comfortable and cosy.Food was very good, ordered the Burger dish and asked them to swap fries for the chunky chips, and so pleased I did some of the best I have had.Sticky toffee pudding with home made vanilla ice cream for pudding was very good too.

We visited the cafe yesterday with our dog Bella. The staff couldn't of been more friendly. We visited at lunch time and had sandwiches and drinks. The food was lovely. They made Bella feel at home. She was given treats, a dog bed and a bowl of water. We are looking forward to coming back after your refurbishment.

Popped in for a coffee to get out of the pouring rain. The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was cosy. We had plans and couldn’t stop for food this time, but the menu looked great, so we’ll definitely be making a return visit for a leisurely Sunday brunch!
