Lovely place ,nice staff ,great food, service was a little slow ,however we had a great night ,I would definitely recommend it, hope they improve on the service, long wait for the order, then a wait for it to come ,our table was booked for 7.30 ,starter came at 8.20 mains came at 9.15 , that is the only thing that lets you down .Kind regards.

Our absolute favourite place to order curry from. We are vegetarian and the curries from here are the most flavoursome, delicious dishes. Other restaurants don’t compare. Would 100% recommend. We love this place so much that we have booked them to cater our Oct 2024 wedding!

Ordered a takeaway for pickup. Website very clear and easy to use. 5 mains + naan + rice + tip came to £60, and included free poppadoms. Some really tasty dishes (Gurkha Lamb was superb, and really nice Chicken Korma) with generous chunks of meat in each, all cooked to be soft, juicy and without much fat. Really impressed! Was meant to feed 5 but we had loads left over for lunch tomorrow! Will definitely order from here again.Parking: On street and council car park (free for one hour) available 2 minutes walk away in Regent Street.

Week of Diwali, the restaurant was busy on this Wednesday eve and managed very Cooley and ably by the manager. Courteous attentive, and welcoming. Tonight we had saag paneer with yogurt and pashwari nan, chicken dish and rice. All very good, freshly made. Reccomend the Saag Paneer! Beautifully made and tasted super authentic. We wrote a review a couple of years back, and decided to write a review today to update..basically, it remains our favorite restaurant, excellent food, table service, a clean light, and airy restaurant, and the staff is great. The price is also very good. Happy Diwali to the Gurkha this evening!

Food was okay but I keep getting 'promotional' emails and SMS from different numbers that I can't block as quickly as they come in. The spam is extremely annoying and I wish I'd never have ordered anything there.

Went on a friend recommdation, don't be put off by the front of the restaurant from the road. Good choice of dishes, great atmosphere, good service . Will definitely visit again.

Laxmen looked after us and he had a chat with us, helpful. This was our first time here so we ordered poppadoms and pickle tray, husband loved the carrot pickle. I had the chicken masala with boiled rice and husband had the lamb handi with chips and we shared the garlic and coriander naan. Everything was full of flavour, the lamb was tender and the chicken was lovely. Had the pistachio ice cream which is my favourite. We'll definitely go back and the price was really good. Go and try this place out you'll want to go back. I can't recommend the dishes lower down as this was our first time but if what we had is anything to go by then I'm sure they'll be good.Vegetarian options: There were plenty of vegetable options.Wheelchair accessibility: A wheelchair would fit in the restaurant easily and I'm sure Laxmen would go above and beyond to help you.Dietary restrictions: The menu informs you of everything in each dish.
