Never had any issues with food or its price, served hot and delicious.On this particular visit, I was told only the bar tables were available despite the restaurant side being almost empty both on arrival and departure, the bar side was busy and there wasn't really much space for 4 of us, we managed to move to a much larger table, of our own accord, when another guest left. We will certainly be back but perhaps FOH team could be a little more helpful in preparing a suitable space when inviting us in.Kid-friendliness: Colouring sheets and crayons provided at the table and generally friendly with the kids.

Really nice meal and good service. If I’m being critical I would say the menu is probably too large and needs a tidy up.Also whilst it is good food I think it coul be presented a little better. This is being hypa critical but I believe with some subtle changes it would go to the next level.

Had my Dads birthday meal last night staff are amazing especially Lisa and Louis. Louis can certainly hold his own especially with my crazy family he made us all belly laugh. Lisa is so lovely she helped me so much yesterday due to an incident that happened on the way to tap haus.Food was absolutely to die for couldn't complain about a single thing. The staff here really look after you. Restaurant looked beautiful with christmas decorations too. Highly recommend this place. Thanks for making our night amazing, ?

So disappointed in what was meant to be a nice evening to end the weekend on.Prebooked a table for 6:30pm, arrived 5 minutes early and was seated after a short wait behind a large group who hadn't booked prior to arrival.Ordered drinks, starters and mains, and after around 30 minutes, we asked the server when we may expect our drinks, a further 10 minutes had passed and we had to go to the bar to ask when they will be coming, they had not even been ordered.5 minutes later, he returned to our table and apologised that there was no lemon juice to make the non-alcoholic mocktail.After waiting close to 50 minutes, with no drink or update on our wait, we decided to leave.Sadly this isn't the first time we've experienced service like this at Tap Haus.

Not the greatest quality of food for the prices unfortunately. There was way too much cheese used on the pizza i had. Took a while for drinks to come each time we ordered a round. Plus on multiple occasions drinks were been taken to the wrong table. The chairs are very uncomfortable too. All in all alot of improvement is needed for the Tap Haus in Mansfield Woodhouse!

We had a table booked for 1830, and it took 10 minutes to get someone to see us. Then, after ordering food and drinks, we still hadn't been served after 45 minutes. I approached a member of staff, who had taken the order, and he checked and said the drinks hadn't been put through. 5 minutes later, we were told that they didn't have the I ingredients needed for the cocktails. We left unsatisfied, hungry, and disappointed.

The food was lovely both times visiting, visited twice in a week as it was so lovely. The lads josh & Louis were so friendly and welcoming both times. Very friendly and nice atmosphere- will be returning again. Food portions are really big and great value for money.

Visited the other week with my partner who decided to take on the eating challenge, the staff moved my partner in-front of the bar whilst I had to sit on my own with brick walls between us as the staff weren’t able to accommodate the both of us due to their main focus being on the quiz night. I ordered the veggie supreme pizza and had the chips leftover from the eating challenge. I then went home and woke up in the middle of the night with the worst stomach pain and began throwing up continuously for hours throughout the night, I have never had any problems like this with food before so this was unexpected. The only thing I can comment on about the pizza was that it was very bland and the chips were super greasy. My partner didn’t enjoy the eating challenge and said the sausages tasted like plastic. On the positive side the atmosphere is nice and so are the staff but I will never be visiting again from my own experience.

Not the review I really wanted to write, but I feel honesty is always better so someone else maybe doesn't have the same experience.We were seated at 12pm, the server didn't even take our order until 12.25pm and the food was served to us until 12.45pm. So from being seated to getting our food took 45 mins. There wasn't a single other table in the restaurant with people sat at it, so they weren't busy. This is so bad because the table was booked (via telephone) a week in advance for 12pm. The restaurant opens at 12pm so as far as I'm concerned the kitchen should be prepped, prepared and ready to cook. If they aren't, then don't take table reservations until 12.30pm.After 45 minutes, I asked the server where the food was, and rather than apologise, he tried to correct me as if I was wrong.My Mum and Dad had the mixed grill platter which looked and tasted amazing!!!!!! Unfortunately my rare steak looked ill, you can tell it hadn't been seared/cooked in high temperatures, the fat was inedible. See picture.I will really be reluctant to eat there again.Poor day!

The accommodation is Ideal for contract workers, it's certainly not for me. Dark walls, carpet and an I'll maintained bathroom. I decided to wash when I arrived at my work place. Lots of new electric fittings but it need a professional eye to oversee corrections. Walls very thin, hear every word of the occupants in the next room. Selection of ale in the bar was a poor representative of good Ale, both ales were off, and I mean OFF.

Having visited here over a year ago and having the worst experience, we decided to return yesterday and try our luck again .. and we were not disappointed! The staff were fantastic, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful! We will definitely be returning for more cocktails and fillet steak! So glad this place has turned itself around! Would recommend 100%

Would have been 5 star if it hadn't taken an hour for our food to arrive, we had to pre-order our food because of party size so not good we had to wait so long, especially as it wasn't busy. The serving staff were brilliant otherwise, not sure why there was such a delay but it was very disappointing, especially when the food was so nice when it did finally arrive.

Went for a mid-week meal with friends. The food was sensational for all in our party. Probably the best steak pie I have ever had! My friend nicknamed her fish and chips...the whale! Louis the young waiter was an asset to the place...fabulous service with a great sense of humour.
