Local pub that deserves a good review for Sunday lunch offerings. It was simple to reserve a table via Facebook messenger, & although the car parking area is small we found a spot. The staff were welcoming & service was efficient. Best of all the meals were excellent! £10.45 for a 2 course meal (roast meat choices-beef, gammon or pork & 1 of us had the vegetarian tart, followed by fruit crumble & custard/red velvet cheesecake & cream/warm choc brownie & cream) well cooked & presented....read full review
Looks to have been recently done up, all nice, bright and white. Although my first ever visit the Owners and staff seem very pleasant. Nice spacious interior with pool and darts (Free on Sundays at time of writing). Reasonable range of beers on draft without going overboard. Had the Sunday dinner, nicely cooked and about just the right amount, well presented too, following the trend of others, with less of a traditional style. A great atmosphere, friendly service and fresh and clean. Children are welcome with a room being developed for them to chill out in. We attended the quiz night and had a great evening!Preparations are being made for serving food too! We will definitely be returning!
