What a lovely little chippy. I only live a few minutes away by car, and it was well worth trip. The lady behind the counter was friendly. Nice large potions and very tasty. I had a large plain sausage with chips and beans. Good value and easy parking. I will be back many times.

Came across Barn Lane Chippy, whilst driving around looking for somewhere good to eat...and this place was outstanding! The fish was big and tasty, with fantastic batter...the chips were gorgeous and a very good portion...proper home made onion rings...amazing old style curry sauce, with currants! My boyfriend had steak pie, which was home-made!! He said it was delicious. We will definitely go back, because I NEED to try the home-made cheese and onion pie!Vegetarian options: I noticed several veggie options, on the menu.

Called on the way back from the airport and had best fish and chips ever! Massive fish cooked to perfection and also does steamed fish which i love. Would highly recommend and Spotlessly clean! All the food looks lovely.
