The staff at the Carpenters Arms Italian Kitchen are so friendly and always greet you with a warm welcome. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the food is incredible, fresh food filled with so much flavour, delicious! My most recent visit was for my birthday, the food was cooked to perfection. As a vegetarian there are many dishes available, there is also the option to have a main course as a starter if you prefer to sample several smaller meals. My favourite dishes from my most recent visit were a starter portion of Mafaldine E Gorgonzola (pasta ribbons, roasted mushrooms, gorgonzola sauce) so light and tasty. My absolute favourite main course is Gnocchi Nuvola (Potato gnocchi, tomato sugo, greens, balsamic) This dish is absolutely bursting with flavours. Compliments to the Chef and kitchen staff who work very hard to produce perfect food. I feel fortunate to live locally & look forward to returning again very soon. I highly recommend The Carpenters Arms Italian Kitchen, every meal I have eaten here has been 5*

Took a friend here for a birthday lunch after looking for somewhere we hadn't been before. The description and reviews made my decision to try it. Wow, what a gem of a place. Proper Italian food cooked with passion and love with great, fresh, quality ingredients. So delicious and good value. The staff are lovely and really friendly. The homemade foccacia was gorgeous. Have booked again for an evening meal and can't wait to return.

What a fantastic find. Wish we knew about this great restaurant before. The friendly staff who made us feel so welcome, especially Matteo who couldn't do enough for us and made our visit extra special. The food is produced to very high standards, freshly cooked, but not having to wait ages. The meals were professionally presented. On chatting afterwards , telling us that produce is sourced locally and they use home grown vegetables etc. Couldn't recommend this gem of a place highly enough.

We've been coming to the Carpenter's Arms regular since John, Louise and team too it over nearly 2 years ago and the food is absolutely divine every single time. The service is second to none and the team are absolutely wonderful. Special shout out to our server today, Ellie, for successfully selling us a pudding today despite being more than comfortably full from our Sunday dinner!!! The menu always has excellent options for everyone, meat eaters, pescetarian, vegetarian and vegan, and the menus are updated seasonally around their home grown veg. I cannot recommend this place enough, it baffles me that anyone could knock the Carps! As for the poor review below mine, perhaps he should have found a wetherspoons instead ?

Small casual dining ... I felt I would be very happy with ... judging by the reviews ... quiet apparently for a Saturday... Staff are serving you ... I mean ... staff was basically forcing themselves to be there ... no vibe no empathy ... starter alright ... mediocre ... paccheri with what lamb? Also not checked by the staff ... just asking about drinks ... so is what is ... rackeless flavour ... my partner don't even wanna stay for dessert ... just want make sure ... when you say your are authentic Italian... at least get the basic details ... also the bill came with drinks we don't had ... basically I'm a driver and I would not gonna have cocktails once I'm a driver and I would prefer a good lager ... well ... I may just say I will not return ... Pathetic ... for Walesby and this prices I just will stay away ...

Had a fantastic lunch here with my husband. The food is amazing , we were totally spoiled for choice. The staff are super friendly & welcoming. The chef even came out with a little platter of treats for our dog on arrival. We had their freshly made focaccia as one of our starters & it was the best we’ve ever had. I am vegetarian & the choice is still great We took home some bread & oil too This is our new favourite place, totally recommend 5 Stars ?

We had an excellent time and all the staff were really welcoming. The food was amazing and my daughter said the chips were the best she has ever tasted! All the food we had was beautifully presented with lots of flavour. Thank you team for a lovely evening!

What a find! Superb food, fresh, often local, expertly prepared and presented. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, the prices very reasonable for the quality. The owner chefs make their own breads and ricottas, grow many of the herbs and veg and offer a range of excellent wines, beers. I have already booked a return visit.

The BEST Italian that we've been to outside of Rome.. Outstanding, home baked breads, imported fine olive oil and Modena Balsamic.. Home made pasta and and service that you make you return.. My wife said: "this is why God gave us taste buds! " We've found something very special here.....
