Newbigg, Westwoodside, DoncasterThe staff at the Carpenters Arms Italian Kitchen are so friendly and always greet you with a warm welcome. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the food is incredible, fresh food filled with so much flavour, delicious! My most recent visit was for my birthday, the food was cooked to perfection. As a vegetarian there are many dishes available, there is also the option to have a main course as a starter if you prefer to sample several smaller meals. My favourite dishes from my most recent visit were a starter portion of Mafaldine E Gorgonzola (pasta ribbons, roasted mushrooms, gorgonzola sauce) so light and tasty. My absolute favourite main course is Gnocchi Nuvola (Potato gnocchi, tomato sugo, greens, balsamic) This dish is absolutely bursting with flavours. Compliments to the Chef and kitchen staff who work very hard to produce perfect food. I feel fortunate to live locally & look forward to returning again very soon. I highly recommend The Carpenters Arms Italian Kitchen, every meal I have eaten here has been 5*

Fox & Hounds
Fountain Hill Rd, Walkeringham, DoncasterThe Fox is a small local pub. The beer selection is small but well taken care of with two real ales, Greene King IPA and Sharp's Doombar. Food is limited to snacks, scratchings, peanuts, crisps, chocolate and toasties. There is a pool table costing 50p and rooms may be hired for functions. Pub quiz held on Thursday nights.

The Waterfront Inn
Canal Ln, DoncasterWent last night and had camembert sharer and pizzas. Lovely food, great service, friendly place, good value. Either eat in the restaurant side or in the bar. Can't think of anything bad to say - even the beer was perfect!! Will
