I stumbled upon Beanbloc and I'm so glad I did. So well set up for a visit with your toddler. Lots of space to put them buggy, friendly welcoming staff and a very well considered menu offering lots of different things for kids, my daughter had the pic and mix lunch which is great as you can select what they are more likely to eat. I enjoyed a panini. Great coffee too. We were able to chat whilst the kids happily played nearby, the space isn't too big so you can easily see the kids, a winner all round! Love this place, will definitely be back ?

A wonderful venue for families with young children. The food is delicious with a good selection of healthy options for the little ones. My husband and I spent 3 hours there with our daughter and 4 grandchildren- aged from 3 years to 7 mths - and we all had a great time.

Excellent cafe! This place is perfect for families. There is loads to do for the kids, the layout is great so that you can always keep an eye on them. The coffee is excellent and the food is always top notch. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the two owners are amazing.

Great place. Nice coffee, delicious cakes, staff are all very friendly. It feels very safe to let your child play, as the baby area is gated and entrance to the cafe also gated, but you can also see the play area at all times from wherever you sit, so I like this. I can relax knowing the kids are safe. The play area is lovely, clean and well maintained. The baby area has a great selection of baby toys and I love the little swing. There needs to be more places like this where mum’s can enjoy a relaxing coffee whilst the little ones play! I’d highly recommend giving it a visit xx

This cafe is a lifeline to all parents! Great drinks, amazing tasty food and always a warm friendly welcome. The play area is enough to keep your little ones busy whilst you catch up with friends (or just enjoy the break) for a very reasonable price. We will be returning again and again :)

This is an amazing space. I wouldn’t visit Newark half as much as I do if it wasn’t for Beanblock. I know it is a space where I can feel comfortable and take a break whilst by baby plays in the soft play. It truly is an absolute gem and such a wonderful idea. Great food and a godsend for mums/ families.

We just held our daughter's 4th birthday here and again we had such a great experience. Our daughter asked for a Frozen theme and for Anna to come to her party. 'Anna' kept the children engaged and entertained. The party was so good, Aliki made sure everything ran smoothly and everyone had such amazing things to say about it. I'd highly recommend hosting your next party here.

Just hosted our child’s party at beanblock, it was just perfect! The staff were so helpful and kind, and nothing was too much trouble. It was beautifully decorated to the theme of her choice and the food was delicious! Took all the stress out of party planning! My daughter and her friends (and all the adults) had a fab time!

We had our son's 4th birthday here and it couldn't have been better. The kids had a wonderful time playing, with face painting added in. The food was great for both kids and adults. The ladies were extremely accommodating and the decoration was a great touch. Thank you for helping to makie it a really special afternoon.

We held my daughter and niece's shared birthday party here last week and it was fantastic. The venue looked lovely - it had been decorated according to our chosen themes (unicorns and dinosaurs) and everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. The staff were friendly, welcoming and made sure that we had everything that we needed from start to finish (including a much needed cuppa for me!), with no rush to gather everything up and leave at the party end time. The food was lovely - typical party food but set out beautifully. We added on the animal experience too, which was well worth it - the Beanblock organised this and the ladies who delivered it were great - they brought a wide range of creatures for the children to look at, stroke, groom, hold and even feed, as well as telling the children key facts about them.All in all it was a lovely, super stress-free children's party enjoyed by all, but most importantly the birthday girls! We'd highly recommend - thank you so much Beanblock!

My daughter still talks about her birthday here six months ago. Aliki created a birthday theme for our daughter and nailed her specific request of a "pink dinosaur party" - even the cake and balloons had pink dinosaurs. We love Beanblock.

What a lovely cafe for families! We brought our 6 and 4 year old here for lunch and a play and they really had the best time in the amazing play area. The facilities are excellent, staff friendly and in a great location. Highly recommend - look forward to visiting again!

We also upgraded to the pizza party which went down great with the children!
