“Had a lovely catch up my brother and sister in law today at The Coffee Chain in Newark. We needed a table for 4 and Lisa was very helpful in sorting a table for us and friendly. Delicious Lincolnshire sausage sandwich. We will visit again next time we are in Newark.”

“Popped in for a quick lunch while in town as saw Home Made soup on menu! Lovely to have a choice - I chose Carrot & Coriander which was really tasty, and came with generous helping of crusty brown bread. Neighbouring table had the Broccoli soup, and she seemed to like that too!
Very pleasant service too”

“My favourite place in Newark for delicious, healthy and beautifully prepared food. Gannets provides a great range of hot and cold drinks, gorgeous cakes made on the premises, and wonderful lunches featuring Gannets' famous salads and quiches. A lot of the food is vegetarian or suitable for vegans.
I especially recommend the amazing flapjack, full of sumptuous dried fruits, the gluten free lemon bar and the filled potato skins.
Look out too for the beautiful floral displays in the front window.
There is no ground floor loo, although there is a Changing Places fully accessible loo just across Castlegate at the back of the Registry Office.”
