“Easy to locate, right on the canal and next to the castle. Lovely snug & cosy room. A bit on the small side, but they still managed to squeeze a tiny table & 2 chairs in by the window, which was a nice touch. Hard to find a mirror with good lighting,... for the ladies ... often an issue in B&Bs/hotels I find. Nice water fall taps, but tiny bathroom sink. Lovely lady, who had arrived to do 'change over' prep, let us in when we were struggling to remember key pad code after going out for breakfast. Gin bar downstairs,.. closed in our visit as out of season,... but not sure I'd want to stay above it when it's open?? Expect it'd be rather noisy ... but great access if you're a late reveller!”
