This is for the lady who gave me two drinks as a “surprise and delight” gift today at Newark Northgate Station. My gift card balance didn’t update so I couldn’t use it. I kept looking while she made our drinks and she came back and said it’s on me. I was so surprised and absolutely thrilled that this little offer of kindness had been given to me today. Thank you lovely lady. Great start to our wedding anniversary weekend x

Called in here for a spot of lunch on Saturday ,the place was heaving but my husband managed to find an empty table,after a long wait in the queue I was served,I had two Bacon and Brie Panini's that wanted heating up,my coffee was made while I waited,took them to our table and my Panini was stone cold in the middle,the cheese wasn't even melted,my husband's was just warm,it couldn't of been given the set time to warm up in the oven as they were heaving.i ate it as was hungry and couldn't possibly stand in that queue again to tell them it was cold.A disappointing expensive lunch !

It's like most Costa Coffee outlets, overpriced, luke warm welcome with a hint of naff warm coffee & stale banana loaf. See you soon ?

Ordered 2 drinks at the Stodman Street Costa. Both were wrong. Had 1st one corrected but daughter didn't want a fuss so kept hers. No apology. Told my daughter they didn't do the drink she had ordered so had to show it in the menu! My replacement drink was not good, couldn't finish it. Barely any flavour. Didn't complain again as won't be visiting again anyway.

This branch is looking very tired and could definitely do with refurbishment. All four drinks we purchased were only just drinkable as not very hot and the cakes were all very dry. This branch wasn't as good as those used at a very busy motorway services

This Costa needs a revamp .Toilets especially very dirty this morning haven't been checked regularly as a customer had left it in a right mess , toilet paper was filled bonus . Entering from outside white doors where very dirty not a good impression .Staff were pleasant quick service only 2 staff on as far as I could see

Costa Coffee is a Costa Coffee! One of the biggest franchises in the world, there’s not much difference between any of them. Newark’s is spacious enough with friendly trained staff. Adequate.
As a regular customer at Costa Newark I have to say in my experience the staff are always very professional, courteous and friendly, and without exception all my visits have been very pleasant and relaxing! Compliments to all. Malcolm Goodman MBE

I visited today with my partner and ordered a flat white and a steamed milk, something that I thought was quite straight forward, however they said they had never heard of a steamed milk and when we explained what it was asked if we wanted it hot or cold! I find this strange as I believe this until recently has been on the menu and it’s not exactly difficult to do. The flat white was tasteless and not up to the normal standard that I would expect from a costa.

Really disappointing service at Newark Station. Staff were chatting, paid no attention to me when I entered the store, despite there being only one other customer in the building. One staff member was preparing an order, the other was casually stocking up with no interest in acknowledging there was a customer waiting. After a few minutes of waiting I gave up and went to get on my train. I’ve only just starting using the station (daily) so really disappointed that there isn’t a decent coffee shop with engaged staff. Pity LNER gave the contract to a faceless corporation.

My main point would be that the coffee is always horrific, no matter who it is. Always slow, some of the staff are not customer friendly at all. Some don't wear uniform. I visit Newark all the time and try to limit my visits to this Costa. A real downer on the brand.
