Very nice place, first time I've eaten in a subway. Good food , reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful. The place was clean and tidy.

Food turned up stone cold, like it had been sat for ages way before delivery man picked up. Ordered extra cheese, but got no cheese at all, sent the wrong crisps, ordered and extra sauce and got the wrong one. Horrendous experience, tried calling the store 4 times no answer what so ever.

I'm very wary of subway due to a disgusting experience in torquay years ago that made me never go back. But last week in Gainsborough my friend reassured me her local subway was exceptionally clean, trusting her I went. It was amazing \\u0026 staff so helpful. So today we decided to go to the Newark branch. Placing my order a fly was on a tray of the food, the assistant wafted it away but it was immediately on other food. Although the assistant tried to get rid of the fly he was still happy to serve that food. My friend \\u0026 I left. I feel sorry for the next customer who may have eaten fly eggs. Don't recommend you.

So I ordered from just eat which I have done many times. I was sat waiting for my order and it never arrived and on the app it said that it had been delivered. I phoned the store and the man who I spoke to was so polite and so helpful. He called his driver and it turns out the driver went to the wrong address which isn’t his fault as it always sends you the wrong way as my dad lives in a weird place. The people never even said it wasn’t their order they just took it which is ridiculous. The man said he would get straight on it and get it delivered which he did. The delivery driver was so apologetic and polite! As a way to apologise they gave me some extras which they didn’t need to do but it definitely put a smile on my face!\\nThank you so so much! I have given this place multiple chances. The food is fresh, no problem there. But the way its run makes ordering food an ordeal.\\n\\nWhen ordering in store the staff are mainly polite. The rude staff I haven't seen for a long time, so hopefully are gone. The guy I assume is the manager always comes across as flustered, which results in him not listening, so you repeat yourself constantly, and for some reason stares at you if you ask for all the salad.\\n\\nTried ordering subs online twice, first time for pick up. The order wasn't ready, they had \\\"sold out\\\" of something I ordered. When I got it home found the order was wrong and I'd been over charged.\\nSecond time had it delivered, something was missing and the filling of the subs were wrong.

I placed the order for someone else and cancelled it (within 5 mins) as he left nottingham earlier than expected. I was told I will be charged 50% as the order is processed. It couldn't have been processed and also the order delivery time was 1hr 15mins away at 13.45pm so they won't feed cold food or are they? Anyways I rang the subway restaurant and cancelled it. I connected on a chat with just eat via app and cancelled it. They asked me to ring again to subway to cancel to avoid 50% charge. I did it again and I received a call at 14:27 from the driver with the food. Is the staff sleeping? Its not driver's fault its Just eat/ Subway who is providing low level service. It was the first time I placed order with them, never again. Check out times on attached pic

Food good as all shops if using google maps to find will lead you to a no way through the entrance is round the corner to the carpark for Asda's as well
