Rude staff do their best not to speak to you and act as though you've just slapped them if you need serving despite how polite you are as a customer, get ready to catch your food when they throw it at you and don't expect anything but silence, no eye contact and sauntering away once you've paid, no thanks or customer service.

Went in for a hot cob with a work colleague they'd ran out of pork (it was 1230) so had turkey and stuffing, was offered cranberry but I politely asked if I could have apple sauce and was snapped at instantly "my manager says no" I was shocked at the tone of response but enquired as to why and she softened her tone but mumbled "something about cross contamination" everywhere has there policies so I said I'll just have turkey and stuffing. She took payment asked if we wanted spread then went and plonked 2 finger rolls on the counter split them threatened them with spread before smearing stuffing on both then carving the turkey. As she place the turkey in the sandwich she also used her hands too. The rolls were on pieces of paper before man handled into paper bags .... No gloves used hands over the rolls fingers on the meat the same hands and fingers she used on the till. But putting apple sauce instead of cranberry sauce on my cob was cross contamination.... And to top it off it was dry as hell when we got back to the office.... Next time I'll go to peckish I think

What a awful staffs.All those old blond womens were horrible.If they don't know how to treat costumer than they must lock themselves at home.Cant believe how rude they were.I will never go to this Place again.

Manners cost nothing and the two female staff were very rude and abrupt towards myself and other customers while we were in the shop. Greggs around the corner is far better.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Extremely rude staff, asked a polite question and firstly got ignored by a member of staff with grey hair and glasses. She then said abruptly "what do you want to my girlfreind" no smile nothing absolutely disgusting

Always shut Sunday but other birds are open where's the point you may as well leave the unit if you're not open on one of the busiest days

Staff in general at birds used to be very courteous and smile, always an hello and thank you, not in Victoria centre, no one smiles, no manners, hello, thank you just rude indignant staff, how can you also run out of eggs and lettuce on a Saturday, used to be a nice place, not anymore, don’t go

I use the Birds in Mapperley and the one near M&S in town on a weekly basis. The staff in both branches are lovely and welcoming. Sadly the same cannot be said for the staff in the Victoria centre branch. I've now had two bad experiences here. It's not clear at all that one till is for takeout and the other for eating in. It's also not clear what deals are for takeout only. They need to make it easier for customers to understand, the current system clearly doesn't work. The staff are very abrupt, bordering on rude. It wouldn't hurt to say 'thank you' or 'please'! I will not be returning to this particular branch.
The food is lovely and the staff friendly. A well deserved five stars given.

Ordered twice online via just eat and twice you have sent one instead of two coffees.Will not be ordering a 3rd time as it’s wasting my time and money.

Horrible stuff. Outside was raining, no customer in the shop, we were waiting for Uber, just sit a little bit. Their stuff came out to push us out? Said we only serve customers who paid in our shop. Excuse me? That is too rude or racist? Hope you shop close immediately. Your attitude is disgusting!

We got “told off” for sitting in the seating area because we didn’t pay to sit down however we didn’t get asked if we were sitting in or taking away so we just presumed we could sit down. The lady who came over was extremely rude to us and carried on talking about us behind our backs. I do not appreciate that. If we were asked we would have paid. I offered to pay because we have sat down and she said no.
